Uh look at both real world vulnerabiltiy test PDFs and pentesting PDFs. Bitwarden has professional examples of the pentesting documentation they recieved as part of their security testing. You kind of get a feel for how this documentarion is done by reading a ton of it

Is LFI supposed to be a subset of the latter?? Per ChatGPT, the difference is that Directory Traversal is read-only for the attacker whereas LFI leverages runtime code execution. Is this correct?

Hi guys, I joined because of a weird thing and I am still learning, I am doing some stuff on network services and I just did telnet, i wanted to do it again, to see if I can do it easily and when doing tcpdump to see if the machine answers to my ping i pinged it from telnet without a limit (meaning the ping continued without stop), I couldn't stop it in any way, I tried exiting telnet machine, and it still pinged me, I tried to kill the process i searched for PID with grep but the process ID was continously changing, what to do in that case? I just turned off my VM but would like to know in the future, I also tried killall ping, didn't help
