Those guides are to help people adapt to the internet age (i.e., drop mannerisms which are only effective for face-to-face communication). They increase efficiency and stop you from making social faux pas in the modern world.

No worries, I used a pair of asterisks, but Discord ate them because I didn't put them in a code block.
I'm on my personal laptop (linux) so was working from memory 😄
I just like that it occurs often enough that I've had to more or less memorize it, and can say "Yeah, sure, Pulse/Alsa/Pipewire suck at audio, but so does audiosrv, so we all get to suffer." 😄

When I didnt receive any confirmation of some sort, I checked sending mail to my mail from another one. I didnt receive any.
Now protonmail had username@proton.me as primary mail.
I mailed support and they want me to mail them from username@protonmail.com to confirm my identity.
Like how will I even do that if protonmail doesnt support it anymore 😦
