yeah for example: When I first installed linux I just used it, right? But whatever I used had many many questions behind it (I have a thirst for knowlenge and very curious, that's why we are on cyber anyway right? haha) but when I installed arch I really understood the system because i was the one building it, and for example when I partitioned the disk it's nice knowing why i chose fat32 or ext4 as the root file system etc. after all it only costs me about 1 hour of my day but i remember these quite well!!
