rpi will run TrueNas connected to a 10TB hard drive
proxmox server will have a vm in there running pfsense hopefully
was considering using the pi for the router and vm for truenas, but i read somewhere that 8gb ram is recommended so the rpi is fine for that, whereas i dont want to use up the ram from the proxmox server, there's only 32gb

i do also already have another pi, but it's really old, like model 1B iirc, specs are ass, but i might put it to use by connecting it to my TV and using it as a HDMI receiver from a media server on a proxmox vm - tried a lightweight kodi on there once but it was pretty slow and networking was an issue since the adapter i had for it required you to compile the drivers yourself and it took me 8 hours to compile the last time i did it on that pi
