I've done a bit of C++ and I've done python. Python's like a comfy couch of a language. Easy to settle into. Smooth to use. W3 schools is probably not where I'd learn it form though. It has a bit of a reputation for being out of date. If I was to recommend something it would be Python Koans https://github.com/arachnegl/python-koans

The reason for that is the way it asks questions gets you in the right frame of making tests pass. Which is something not so many devs do...

In terms of structures once you've learnt dictionaries, you've 80% of Python data structures for general computing in the bag.

It's a lot simpler than C++ in that regard.

Hey guys, I am very new to all this, and was learning how ghidra works and for that I made a random cpp program. If you read this program you will see its just a basic input and a loop.
It takes in a name and prints Hello name, x times.

And... i am genuinely confused on how this is working? The name variable never gets used but there are other variables that had no relation with name being concatted with the string. I am new to this so I am certain I am reading something wrong or misunderstanding something, please help thx!

TLDR: In the decompiled Ghidra, how is the name variable never being concat with the string :, are the other local variables storing it but its not being shown??
