If an antivirus triggers, is it a reputable antivirus? Then I personally wouldn't run it if you don't know what you're doing.

If it was me, I'd analyse what it's saying it is, is it just AI or heuristics, does it look like an ongoing malware campaign based on the name, where did I get the file from, run it through some other services, for example, an online or cloud sandbox. Worst case scenario manually analyse it in a VM.

But that's because I know what I'm doing, and to be fair, I analyse malware samples quite regularly, sometimes the freshest samples don't have any hits on virus total or it's one or two.

The bad thing? Some job offers were for certain jobs that I've already done and don't want to do anymore 😂 But it's a fun experiment!
