so i made a basket web application using Flask and socketio to make a chat room. all hosted locally. Orginally it used HTTP packets to transmit the data and using Wireshark i was able to capture these packets and see that the HTTP Post packets contained the message data in plain text.. so i signed my own cert to encrypt it and now these are the only packets i am capturing under the specified port (cant post pic) but they are just TCP and RSL protocols.

i want to be able to compare the packets and show specifically where the encrypted message data is

Because there will be software that you didn't expect to be compatible with your distribution, and there will be problems with hardware drivers, especially with the GPU, when you want to go back to Windows it will be much more complicated to install Windows from Linux than Linux from Windows.
