A friend of mine reached out with an issue that someone made a fake facebook account under her name with all the photos pf her and her family, posting hate speech and comments as well. My friend reached put to un emergency police as well and they said its social media and we can’t take any action unless someone came and bother you.
So, what would be a solution with these types of issues? Is it legal to search for their IP address(fake account s IP add) in U.S?

Note: she already reported to Facebook and Facebook said we cannot take out this profile as it doesn’t violate our terms.

I'm having a network issue. I have two laptops on the same network. The first accesses www.facebook.com normally, but the second redirects to web.facebook.com/?_rdc=1&_rdr. However, the second laptop accesses www.facebook.com fine on a different network. Any ideas why?

It's just a certificate of completion for the path. Certifications are tested for by accredited organizations such as Pearson Vue.

All I hold is far as certifications anymore is the A+.. but have quite a few paths on THM done which I have certificates for. They do nothing but give me happiness in the completion of a path. My A+ has gotten me jobs.

I'm considering trying gaming on Qubes.
Passthrough the dedicated GPU to the gaming qube when it is started up, and when it's brought down, flip it over to my hacking VM to be used for crunching. 😄

Are there better ways to do this? Probably, but Qubes isn't any more complex than things I do already any given day from the look of it.
