The commands and programming languages are your tools. You can teach a monkey how to swing a hammer. The skill is understanding firstly how systems work, secondly how their working might be flawed in a way that makes it attackable and lastly performing the attack. That's a lot of theoretical knowledge about things like networking protocols, cryptography but also creativity, experience, intuition.

I've got a decade and a half dev experience behind me, so I can't really say anything about pay. Also that varies greatly according to location, etc. Internships shouldn't be too hard to find tbh, everyone's looking for security talent, but I don't think you should limit yourself to red or blue at first. Both teams are two sides of the same coin. SOC work will give insight as to how networks are managed, and what people are looking for. DFIR will give insight as to how attackers think and work. Pen Testing requires you to be creative as to how to break into a system. Having dev experience there is paramount IMO. The main issue with the infosec job market is that everyone wants/needs highly experienced talent, but they also don't generally want to front the cash. It may be interesting to look into contracting agencies that specialize in infosec, but there may be surprising openings in non-it sectors as well. Manufacturers have a huge amount of IT and (usually) very little expertise in the domain, and they do need a lot of help.

spirits are generally are between 35–40% some single malt go until 46, and some other rare spirits can go higher so if you don't have tolerance for alcohol any of them will hit you because of the high alcohol content, if you compare it with beer and wine
