Yiss, uBlock Origin is love. For what it’s worth it can be deployed via GPO for all browsers if anyone is considering it for work. Adblockers are very effective in preventing many common scams, especially Google ad placement ones
Can also maintain custom filter lists via same GPOs, but honestly most can set it and forget it with how easy it is for end users to allow list a site (single large power button in the extension)

A lot of the time when you go to foreign countries, you'll often just get a botched job by someone who shouldn't be anywhere near a medical/dental procedure... I've heard of people who just had their teeth filed down and capped after paying 5k or more

Depends on how good you are at disk forensics, and how you deleted it. If it went to the trash bin, you could recover. If you used rm the exists but the pointer to it has been marked as free space.
