You get better at stress management over time. I suffered really bad with anxiety and it would make me horrible during exam time. I worked a ton on my confidence, managing stress and identifying causes of anxiety and it has pretty much made me able to completely relax and remove feelings of anxiety.
Another thing is diet, exercise, time spent in the sun, looking at things close and far, caffeine, sugar intake and sleep. All of these will impact your stress levels
