kernel security check failure is quite a "generic" error could be anything from drivers, hardware (ram etc), software (i.e. running an sfc scan to fix things).

preferably, i'd use the windows installation media because it basically does the work for you, unless you wanna modify some settings using rufus then i guess bootable usb makes sense, in that case it should fine setting it to MBR

But I downloaded the ISO from the official siteweb of Microsoft, as if I downloaded it from windows installation media, same thing, what should be done is put the ISO on the USB drive. I chose GPT in rufus, and my disk on which I want to install Win on it is MBR. Isn’t it supposed to The partition scheme of USB drive and disk are identical, that's what I would like to know.

I'm fiddling with a silly problem. (NON ROOM RELATED). I have a PVE host running in (at least) two networks. 10.1.2.x/24 and 10.0.0.x/24 ... the routing between 10.1.2.x and 10.0.0.x is done via 10.1.2.254 (NOT THIS HOST) .. When i ssh from 10.0.0.x (a vm on this pve host) and scp a file smaller than 47KB to 10.1.2.x it works and the file is transmitted. When i transmit a file larger than 47kb it ransmits the first 47kb and then goes out for a cup of tea .. and never comes back

I don't know about any direct advantages or disadvantages, but I use VirtualBox as well. It's easily setup, and it works well every time for when I want an added virtualization inside of my current virtualization

I don't know man, can't find material right now. But somewhere I read that too much virtualization is a bad thing. I know that there are at least two different types of ISO's for linux, they have the standard install ISO for PC's, and then they also have VM ISO's which provide an additional layer of virtualization to your VM experience. Could have sworn, somewhere it said that doing too much of that could lead to you being exposed. I could have read wrong though.
