I found it very interesting but I'm partially bias because I like linguistics, of course who wrote the book is a linguist. I stumbled upon this book because a while ago I had a let's say a conversation/discussion about emojis and how are "affecting" the language. He's point was that emojis are destroying the language (he didn't study anything related with English or Linguistics) just his opinion, base on who knows what 😂 My point is that emojis aren't affecting the language they're just a complement for the online language, to express, body language, emotions, etc. and I explain an base my opinion, afterwards doing some research I found that book, and I come back even stronger on him because a lot of my points were actually points that the author discuss in the book 🙂 so I was really happy
