As long as you don't actively DoS them, you should be fine.

Very very unlikely.

Avoid fuzzing with tools like gobuster or fuff as much as you can, you should not need to do that.

And for sqlmap, it should not be able to take down/dos your target in a manner that breaks something other then the challenge itself. And then you can just restart it.

I'd still recommend to do the injections manually.

Don't hesitate to look at solutions when you get stuck, specially at the start.

No matter what, getting good at hacking will be a long journey, so don't get discouraged by that.

I did transfer the 2000, and that was not that amount so I kept adding more and more. I got to an amount and not matter how much I added, it would not go up, and it stayed at the highest amount that it could get and it still was not the right answer.
