I'll hopefully get some time in weekends for exploring the city I'd be in, but 9am-10pm at work, then Imma head home and straight to sleep trying to get 7~8hrs in. and wake up at 6 am

it's a dilemma, i mean i do wanna have a life but i wanna get an fte offer too and dunno how much effort it takes

it's hard to relax when you been studying 12 hrs a day for 3 years

You'll burn out in a week. Keep a balance. Being able to do the job is one thing, but also being nice to be around is important

Studying and working are 2 different beasts

course you can. But not doing 13hrs a day, then sleeping 6. Giving you a total of 5 hours a day for commuting, eating, washing and all the other 'life admin', not to mention any hobbies and stuff

Honestly, this is a great opportunity. I get the excitement and the urge to impress - However, life is not all about working contstatly. You'll be a much nicer person to be around (And more productive) if you are well rested and relaxed. the schedule you mentioned doesnt give much time for that

that's true. so what's the best thing i could do so as to not just drop dead professionally and have a life? maybe not have a schedule and do what i feel like doing on the spot kinda thing? I am social enough to make friends out of strangers i guess thats a plus

a bit of both. A schedule/plan is solid. It's juyst the one you mention is unsustainable
