If you want to understand how we have gotten to where we are vis-a-vis US/Russia relations, this guy absolutely knows his stuff. It is completely worth the two hours for a legitimately informed view of the world that isn't strictly bound by a nation-state/nationalist perspective.

The only really objectively wrong part of his narrative, if I recall is the contested "not one inch" story. The official stance regarding this part of the narrative is that someone without the authority to make the arrangement uttered the words that NATO would move "not one inch" eastward as part of a conditional statement (as in What if...), to which Russia was inclined to agree with. When the deal was brought back to the United States, the president at the time flatly rejected any such commitment.
If you watch this narrative and follow up with PBS/Frontline's 2 part series on Russian aggression, the picture becomes even more clear what is motivating Putin
