well, this was the recommended setup in the room and, at least on a local VM, those scans were always pretty fast (maybe 5 minutes at max).

I had this problem on a local kali vm once, but that was something on my side. The next day, the same scan on the same target machine setup took only 5 minutes again

hi all - i'm attempting the Gatekeeper room. i've copied the gatekeeper.exe to a Win 10 VM but it won't run... the error is just:

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)

The event logs say exactly the same thing - no further info. Has anybody else experienced this ? Any advice ?

Good day. I'm new to the subject at hand - completed the (Eternal-)Blue Room using both the provided Kali (browser version) and the AttackBox. I then installed a VM running Kali and was able to connect to the VPN. However, trying the Blue Room again using my own Kali (VM) results in the exploit freezing. I believe the problem lies with the LHOST option. I am not sure where to obtain the correct IP to use for this - is it the Internal Virtual IP Address provided in my Access page on the tryhackme site, or elsewhere? Regards, D

Make sure you're connecting to the VPN directly from the kali VM and not from the host OS.

hey, i have a really weird issue with deploying machines. If I try to deploy them from my win10 host pc, they don't deploy but if I try the same in my kali vm they deploy just fine.

Going through the Intro to networking room, and I am on the part about wireshark

I don't have wireshark installed, and there is no way for me to get the GUI version of it...

Hey guys I wanted to ask for help regarding the Throwback Labs I am currently doing... it seems that the network has some problems... it has a big amount of package losses and I cant fix it... I restarted everything which could be done but nothing did help. I also wanted to reset the lab, but as there are 2 votes needed for it i cannot change the state of the network now.
I wanna go on doing the lab but I cant get my proxy to work in the current state...
