If Discord weren't so bad about it, I'd probably have nitro, tbh, but you always have to balance how much you want a thing against how much you'd have to shift your threat profile of the thing to get it 🤷🏼 Like, I'd do a year of TryHackMe if I could get the discount on the voucher. Devow have you tried this:

If you are using the TryHackMe VMs and you are recieving an "Authentication Failure" error, please follow these steps:

Terminate the attack box
Load one of the Kali VMs and terminate it once it has loaded,
Boot the attack box up again :)

Connecting in the browser will change quality depending on your wifi speeds / connection quality

Directly connecting through a VNC or RDP application you'll be able to force the quality

I had used a HDFC visa card. Worked at the first attempt. Visa/Master or bank shouldn't matter. There may have been issues with bank/visa/master/website/thm at the point in time you tried.

Hi, I'm having trouble with SSH and room lookingglass. I successfully ssh into the machine with password but once I run a command that outputs a lot my SSH hangs. I've rebooted kali, and redeployed the thm instance without any change. I've run the vpn script and all is showing fine. Any ideas on troubleshooting please?

@placid mango Thanks for the reply. I'm on the nearest one to me and everything feels very responsive running smaller commands, and its more like if I go over a certain limit it gets stopped. It doesn't feel like the connection is slow. I might go to a different vpn server though, that's an idea. I'm connected to AU server.

@placid mango Oh I didn't think of that! Thanks . Edit: I f anyone has the same issue , I wasn't able to get an interactive ssh working without hanging but I worked around it by establishing a nc reverse shell from the ssh and that worked.

@placid mango Thanks for the reply. I'm on the nearest one to me and everything feels very responsive running smaller commands, and its more like if I go over a certain limit it gets stopped. It doesn't feel like the connection is slow. I might go to a different vpn server though, that's an idea. I'm connected to AU server.
@faint echo I temporarily fixed my issue by manually setting MTU from 1500 to 1300 , same vpn issue as some other reported here. sudo /sbin/ip link set dev tun0 up mtu 1300 .

Being able to answer a question has nothing to do with deploying a machine. You can asnwers questions as soon as you join a room, but you only get an IP when you click on the green "Deploy" button for one of the machines
