At least in the above screenshot, the URL is not right. It's saying lab_web_url, but that is actually only a placeholder and will get populated with the correct URL once you started the machine, and once that machine is showing up the IP

(1/2) I've been working on this for hours, and I think this may be on THM's side. I see some chatter about openvpn issues. Is anyone having trouble using their own Kali or Parrot attackboxes? All external traffic is cut off after connecting to openvpn. My Windows VM on the same network and vswitch work just fine...

(2/2) tcpdum shows outbout ICMP requests to the target machine with no reply. I've checked firewall, tunneling, etc. Again, it's only my lnux boxes. Windows VM on the same network and vswitch work just fine

Yup. I'm using the same config on all instances, but redownladed anyway. It's just strange how it's only kali and parrot. There's no custom routing tables, etc. It's out of the box VMs

On the diskrupt room, I think the wording of questions was a bit confusing for a couple of them. I eventually figured out what the room wanted, but question 3 and 4 say they want the partition sizes "in GB" but in reality they want the sizes "in GiB".

Another suggestion I have would be for question 2. Instead of just saying (Little Endian) at the end of the question, I would recommend saying (don't forget to convert from LE to BE). Just saying (LE) made me think that you wanted the bytes to stay in LE format.

Aside from that the room was GREAT! TONs of fun! Thanks!

I'm experiencing persistent VPN connectivity problems with TryHackMe on two up-to-date Apple Silicon Macs. The issues occur consistently on both machines.
Current situation:

Using Exegol with OpenVPN config file:

Connection is highly unstable
Sometimes works briefly
Ping tests initially succeed but frequently freeze for extended periods before randomly resuming (with no visible lag displayed)

Using OpenVPN client:

Cannot establish any connection whatsoever

Using Tunnelblick client:

Can initially connect
Connection resets approximately every 4 minutes
Makes it extremely difficult to perform actions on target machines due to constant disconnections

These connectivity issues are making it nearly impossible to participate effectively in CTF challenges. Any assistance in resolving these VPN problems would be greatly appreciated.

The only 2 ways are through OpenVPN on your kali or the attackbox.

Perhaps maybe a bug on site. After being in second place on bronze level, it advanced forward to say complete 2 rooms in order to move to sliver league. As soon as I completed two rooms, it sent me to another bronze league campaign. Or maybe I missed something!!!
