It started out with someone changing the browser settings to where it would run in terminal when clicked. I have since fixed that issue and it worked for an hour and a half until I shut down the VM and now it's back to doing it again. The settings are still set to the previously working conditions

Come on guys, is there really no one here to talk to about this problem with the AD rooms?! I started having this problems in January!! is Mach already and still there is not an answer to why these rooms won't work. I started doing Lateral Movement that month and finished the 26th of February, because it never worked, now since that day I had been trying to finish the other rooms(3) but I just can't. How you guys expect people to keep a membership when the rooms that matter don't work? it took me a month and a half just to do Lateral Movement because it didn't work, then after numerous Email to support, it got fixed. Now i had been trying to finish the last 2 rooms for 4 days.

In theory, you don't need connection to the Internet to solve almost all rooms except a few. However, if you are a subscriber and your Attackbox doesn't have Internet access, you might want to drop an email to THM Suppor to clarify.

Hello here. Please why does my nmap scans say it will complete in 7 hours. I'm currently in the complete beginner room (Network services 2). And I connect to tryhackme from my VM (because for many reasons that I have already reported I gave up on Attackbox).

Somedays, the nmap scan goes normally but other days, it either refuses to go through or it goes on but takes about 30min to complete 1%

I believe the issue isn't with my internet or device because I seldom face this problem.

Am I doing anything wrong please?

In your Linux terminal, make the script executable with chmod +x <path-to-script>. If you downloaded the script to your Downloads folder, this would be chmod +x ~/Downloads/thm-troubleshoot.

Run the script by typing sudo followed by the path to the script into your terminal and pressing enter. If the script is in your downloads, it will be the following command: sudo ~/Downloads/thm-troubleshoot.

The script will instruct you on how to proceed from there.

Hello can someone please help me figure out why I'm not connecting with OpenVPN on Debian 12 even with it showing a successful outbound connection to 10.10.10.10 via the tun0 VPN and acknowledging success "Initialization Sequence Completed" in console?

I've gone over ciphers and data ciphers settings, I've regenerated the connection file, my firewall settings should be correct for postrouting and I've allowed forwarding. I still see "not connected" with internal IP address of 0.0.0.0 on the access test page.

I think it was a parsing issue in the end as it worked on any other debian based distro. Anyway, glad to hear it has been fixed.

You may very well be right. It has been about 2 years since I used to use kali. I stopped before kali purple came out as I kept having to use the pimpmykali git repo to fix a lot of problems so went with parrot or just a vanilla spin as they just always seemed to work. From time to time, sites occasionally change. Sometimes they add stuff, sometimes they remove stuff. My suggestion is to stop looking for a room that no longer exists and pick one readily available. Personally I would recommend any Red Team room so you can learn and be a bit more prepared for KOTH rooms when you compete against other hackers

Also when expanding one of the tasks in one of the rooms with a screenreader the user gets pushed back to the top of the page.
