I have unsubscribed to THM for a 2-3 months and just logged in into my account yo find out that I'm down from 130 completed Rooms to 126.

I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable . This goes against game design principles and it is a really bad practice that is not going to help your company to retain users. Especially when we had to pay monthly fees, worked on our own time to clear those rooms.

This end result comes out as a very disrespectful practice. Users should not lose their number of completed rooms.

I do not know what Rooms are involved. I just noticed my number dropping over time. 130, 129, etc.
It looks bad, because between industry professionals some of us share about progress and this shows incoherent data. It makes us look bad in front of potential employers.

I suspect this is related to one of the main Learning Paths with rooms that were back then still in development. And have released since, possibly.

Sometimes rooms get added to, however I don't think that would take away your final count.

I think you'd maybe need to contact support for a clearer answer, however they're very busy and I wouldn't expect an answer back until later next week.

Hi, im trying to do some of the labs on THM, Im currently using a Kali VM on my personal computer. I had been using the openvpn connect app on the computers host OS to connect to the THM VPN network, but I came to a lab where I needed to upload a file from my computer to the target computer, but it wouldnt let me. I was trying to basic connectivity tests with pings, and I noticed I was unable to ping from the target computer to my Kali VM's ip address. I presume this is due to how virtualbox handles the NAT.

I then attempted to install openvpn on the Kali VM and disconnected the Host OS from the OpenVPN app. However with this setup I am unable to even ping the target machine from my Kali VM, and I cannot ping the Kali VM from the target machine. I followed the setup guides on THM for setting up the OpenVPN on linux, and im not sure if im missing a step or something, but its just not working for me.

Host OS: windows 10 pro v 19044
VM OS: Kali 64bit v 2022.4

Is there an issue with aus hosts connecting and having sever lag. I'm just trying to connect to boxes in general, and load a page/url but hosts are becoming unresponsive. Ie matrix exit denied host, ive tried to attempt a few boxes and they all fail, but connection to everything else is fine

If it's being published (made public) it requires a writeup.
I'm not sure if you can hide it at all on the settings but room-testers use the writeup so that they can get through x amount of boxes a day (insane boxes can take a few days for even the most advanced pentesters).

If you want to keep it private, there should be a join link, but this means that you can only keep it internally (not allowed to publish the link as it has not gone through our testing process to ensure the quality of the box is up to our standards)

You said you needed the login keyring for the attackbox but you're on the AttackBox.

If you're trying to connect to an in-browser machine for a room, if the credentials aren't supplied, you cannot connect to it.

I am doing the room Relevant for my school project and I seem to be having an issue with the VPN connecting to my Kali box. I downloaded my ovpn from my account and established a connect (which is great). However it seems what I run theader3000 or other nmap scans it isn't bringing up Port 49663,49666, and 49668. Anyone else having this issue. I only know about these open ports because of the walkthrough, but I want to do it right and understand it properly. Is this an issue with my ovpn? Should I just do it on the attack box instead? Thanks in advance

I made my first steps in THM last week, but from the beginning I have problems with the connection for which I can't find a solution. Does anyone know why the VMs in the learning path always dis- and reconnect after 20-30 seconds? I don't use VPN and no VM for accessing the learning path. Thx

Okay so yes, as the attackbox box maintainer (weird flex but okay) they keychain password is not the password that gets assigned on pages like /my-machine. It's an internal hard-coded password that is not randomly generated on the deployment of the attackbox

Is there a way to terminate all machines? After finishing I think Burp Suite Basics room I forgot to terminate the machine there before starting a machine in Vulnversity.
Now I can't get onto Vulnversity's page, there's a different "green status" IP address on top of the page (but it's not the one for Vulnversity) and I've no idea how to terminate that.

I am trying to run the openvpn connection from my own VM and I cannot get the command to work, I have verified that openvpn is installed but when I run sudo openvpn <file.ovpn> nothing happens
