#Old Family Home in Norway

Do you know the general area or anything?
Also if you know how old (roughly) the photo is
too bad the building style is so common in Norway...it could be every 3rd house ๐
houses are roughly on an east-west axis
although i guess the sun is on a lower angle in norway
That's a massive search area, but if you have the time you can probably find it
Make a sketch of what this would roughly look like from above
That makes it easier to identify
Any rough direction?
40min drive...in this area with all the curvy roads, could still be in a 50km radius
Yeah, but a lot better than 100km, heh
or even further if ypou drive on the highway
this will be very hard to find (unless you scan the whole area, which will take alot of time)
Doing a standard grid search is probably the fastest way to do this
Still takes a lot of time though
yep, there are simply too few clues in this picture
i have a hunch it was taken at evening because of the car
you could also just ask: why would someone take a picture of this and hang in it in their home. It must be either a vacation place or a family place...so that should narrow it down...
and how long the shadow is
and if it was taken around 2015, maybe someone still knows
Yeah, and there's so many towns around there, getting the name of even one that's close by would narrow down the search area drastically
also seeing the entire photo in case there's something near the edges
and again, is something written on the back?
if its a photo in your house I assume its from your parents/grandparents?
Any idea how far from Birkeland?
Anyone experienced with geolocation have a good recommendation for how to grid search easily so I don't go over the same area twice?
You can use something like GE-Path
Oh nice, I'll check it out
