Tell me why you want to be an admin:
I'm applying because I genuinely enjoy the OTT community and I've clocked up over 100 hours in it. More importantly, I unlocked every single achievement which means I know this game inside out. But honestly what really sells me is my actual experience running communities from scratch rather than just being a long time player who wants cool glowy discord roles lol.
I'm a developer for Even Realities and I run my own server as manager. I handle everything from finances to customer support to community management. This is proper day to day stuff, not just popping in when it's convenient or when people are handing out perks.
On the tech side I've built over 50 custom Discord bots myself. Ticketing systems, moderation tools, anti-troll setups, mini games you actually want to play. I've tinkered with basically every major bot out there too like Dyno and MEE6 and Arcane so you name it I know how they work.
Beyond the tech I've thrown my fair share of community events. Game nights, movie watch alongs, trivia runs, that sort of thing. I've even done presentations as a speaker on Discord. I get that keeping players engaged isn't just about logging hours. It's actually making the space fun to hang out in and not cringe when you join a voice chat.
With my day job being part time WFH I'm usually sat at home and can keep an eye on the server for 6 hours plus daily without much hassle. If I do get the role I'd love to shake things up by setting up automated ticket routing so reports don't just die in general chat, plus a proper ban appeal system where people actually understand why they got banned instead of just getting hit with you've been banned and being left confused about what happened.
I also want to introduce something fresh for the community like a weekly Ace Spotlight and Loadout Lab. Basically every week I pick standout players based on their matches or posts, feature them in a dedicated channel, and have them share their builds and tips. It gives casual players actual recognition without needing ranks, teaches new players what works, and creates organic content that keeps people checking Discord instead of just hopping in and out for one match then logging off.
On the game itself I think it would be brilliant to see more varied modes beyond standard 100v100. Something like smaller 50v50 battleground maps where roles actually matter, especially engineers building and digging strategically. Then balance that with genuinely fun casual options too, maybe maze trench maps limited to melee only or massive dirt trench brawls restricted to bayonets. Gives competitive players something to grind for while letting the rest of us have a laugh without needing a serious match every time.
Whether it's sorting out cheaters which means instant IP bans no debate, de escalating drama between players, or just keeping the vibe positive I've done this before across multiple communities and I'm proper keen to bring that energy here. Cheers!
