I work so slow. Wish i had a pentab display, maybe someday soon 💀 also why did our twilight cleric have to be a fancy pants noble 😩🥲🥴 im never over rendering for a comic panel ever again after this project
Done a warforged commission,
First print run of my tarrasque mini
Yeah, I think the scale is a little off
Did some measurements and reprinting it at 140% original file size
Yeah that mini should be the size of one claw.
Did you look into the XP pen artist tablets? Those are quite cheap and work really well, I made this with it
Not quite that big, MM says the tarrasque is 70 feet from head to tail, which translates to 14 inches. This mini is currently 10 inches from one end to the other, so I've scaled the next print up by 40%
Practicing a bunch of stuff .. honestly just trying to warm up for when I start my webcomic once again.
But, it also says it’s 50 ft tall. I think the Lord of Print mini is just proportioned weird. It would be ten squares tall. Given each square in the scale is designated as five feet, and the base of a mini fits in one square. Very cool print though. I need to get my resin printer back up and running.
I did measure the vertical height and it's nowhere near that, but it is hunched over and has a different spike arrangement to the classic art. As such, I'm using the length as a scale reference rather than the height
It’s a cool print man. Would love to see it painted.
Can't wait to paint it, but I have a backlog of shame
We all do my friend, we all do.
Not exactly D&D related art, but a good friend of mine made this awesome piece and I felt like it was appropriate to share it here
https://twitter.com/aiimlo/status/1487109476318695426?s=20&t=spFyGSvqgsq_44-5sc_dWA
Just got some commissioned character art back - Dahanya, the Githzerai Teleporter (Conjuration school Wizard).
Artist credit: Eriana Ura-Smith, https://erianaura.art/
hahaha nice "now you're thinking with portals"
not enough Gith art
Right?
That (and that I won my work fantasy football pool) is why I commissioned this
Love the color
Ooooooo where did you find the file
Fairly certain it’s the Terrasque by Lord of the Print. You can find their minis on My Mini Factory.
Thank you
There’s a link for you.
It’s beautiful, sadly I have no money lol
Think the poster says everything you need to know. A potential character for a Drakkenheim campaign
Nimble escape.
some oni villain concepts to fight my art funk
1 and 2 look extremely interesting 👀
Yeah, 1 and 2 are definitely my favorites.
Can I use these concepts in my game as tokens, they look very cool
sure lol
Awesome, Oni are neat
The same wip ive been inching away on ugh am finally done fiddling with the gambesons design 😩 now a just have to finish it 💀
Shouldve just stuck with a simpler render like a webtoon situation
2/4 for me because uncommon 🖤
1 and 2 are definitely the most unique designs, but depending on what you want, 3/4 could work.
1/2 for a beast-like warmongering creature, while 3/4 would be the type of creature that would talk to you before a fight
stinky bot
This looks great, at least!
Thanks 💀🚬
Design commission
Can't wait to get my book!
Finished the flat colors might do shading
Are they wearing pants or is that just different colored fur?
I'm looking forward to having the physical copy!
I don't see how it's D&D-related, but you did a good job!
nothing in the rules that says you can't post non-D&D art
¯_(ツ)_/¯
Oh, ok!
It is in the “D&D Makerspace” category, so the intention is D&D art. But yeah, that does need to get clarified in the actual rules.
(It’s fine this time)
It can always just be character art
The Kobold Tombs
Not that these are tombs for dead kobolds, but instead the kobold tribe took over these ancient tombs... And you've found an ancient text describing where to find a secret treasure chamber within!
Kobolds be living in a place where dead people are supposed to be put in lol
Another possible character(s) for a new campaign, a reborn ranger, his body inhabited by his twin who died when part of the meteor struck their home (Vail also lost his arm and an eye, which his brother replaces during combat with spectral versions)
Upscaled tarrasque parts next to original, itty bitty tarrasque. Gonna sculpt in some of the spines that didn't quite print before assembly
This is my work in progress of my Reborn Artificer
I tried fooling around with shadows but I don’t know if I like them
Ah yeah man. Looking good.
How's the Tiamat one lookin?
Still wingless and gappy
:(
My brother (our DM) informed me, like, one hour before our session started that I just might have to introduce my new character a bit earlier than we'd oroginally planned - I like to introduce my characters with at least a quick sketch, so I whipped this up within like 45 minutes. Given the circumstances, I am rather happy with how it turned out :)
that took 45mins! that would take me a week lol
This should be a fun encounter.
Hopefully I'm not gonna get bonked for posting shirtless dudes
but I drew some funny guys
looks like a destiny character... love it
ive seen far worse in here lmao
Nice dude, I remember this silhouette from the other day. Looks good.
i remember him too
wish he stayed a silhouette
i do not envy your players
scary.
Done a player character commission.
A map I made a little while back of Carnath, the land of magic. It's said to be the birthplace or heart of all magic.
comm of a ostentatious BBEG
Just finished printing a few “medium” size minis for scale!
My friends wild magic barbarian, both in rage and out of rage
Yup!
oh
my god
💀 that is so good
I'm literally obsessed oml 😭
Commission I had done of a party member in the style of the Dragon Age tarot cards. The artist: https://www.deviantart.com/whizumi
While taking a break i made new art
That’s pretty good
Thanks
Better than my first. Acrylic paint with a sewing needle for finer details.
You've got a typo here, you said pretty bad but I think you meant pretty rad
@haughty swallow Advertisements of any kind should be posted in #dnd-advertisements
Sorry Davyd, i'm new here.. thank you for the warning
Server rules can be found in #520291181083754516

DO I HAVE SOCIAL AN INSTA I MUST FOLLOW U
it's normal when ya start, but as long u like ur work there's nothing bad
is satisfying how did u manage the color scheme and how smooth it looks
im in my project of my starry warchief
its a warhammer primaris lieutenant that i started paintig as the color scheme of Starry Night
and i challenged myself to try to make the paint in the left arm shoulder plate
i will share the result when finished
An exercise in pointless stonecraft, this castle sits abandoned and oft overrun by foul creatures. A dwarven folly – a structure built purely for the sake of building a structure – the castle cuts into and juts over a small canyon in the foothills of Tismar Summit.
None would care about the current residents of the folly if they hadn’t gathered the tribes and kidnapped the fourth son of Grand Duke Dietmar Stengel.

Gotta say making people's DnD Characters in this artstyle is hella fun! https://twitter.com/JacobGrimoire/status/1488930170543263753?s=20&t=oTlfFdy310GVlCduJwwSHg
@proven estuary an example of the results azgaar can produce. I've customized it to a pretty strong degree:
https://i.imgur.com/PyB1Vvx.png
That looks so pretty, you've done a really good job on the shapes and geography
It's a really strong tool if you can suffer through the lag, and if you take the time to learn everything it can do.
If I had the cash to spare, I would ask for a commission
couple item illustrations for handouts

Sketched me up a Halaster
Maybe I’ll offer a sale sometime! Be sure to follow me if I do!
@proven estuary it's kinda like art:
I love it. I wish I were able to do such things too. I've learned a few things over OpenOffice because it's a mandatory class in college, but Google Sheets won't work the same way and I've been traumatised by all the little cells.
It may not rival with your loot table, but here is how I want to organise my map:
Each tile has a number which is the name of the picture with said tile. So that makes a lot of tiles, up to 224 actually.
All of them are divided into lines of 15 tiles.
I'm creating different Google Sheets named after the line they represent, as long as the tiles have some ground on it.
Document number 1 is tile 53 to tile 56. Number 2 is 64-71. Then it's 78-86, 93-101, etc. all the way down to 192.
And each document is separated in different sheets, called '53', '54', '55', '56' for document number 1. And so on.
And in each sheet, a number for each cell. And for each cell, a picture, a description.
I wish we had a cosplay channel
same
Been working on a new map for a campaign, tried to go for the Tolkien style
Cosplay totally counts as arts and crafts. Feel free to share!
"tankard of sobriety"? That's like "shiv of healing"
What'd you use to make it? It looks awesome!
Or did you just draw it?
I used procreate, but used a set of map brushes
I'll send the link if I can find it, it's $15 tho
A set of cartography brushes contains about 200 hand drawn style and simple style brushes.(total 400+) Free for personal and commercial use If you need help or any more information please contact me by email. syeon732@gmail.com
Some player character commission I did a while ago.
https://www.deviantart.com/jp-files/art/Ringmaster-Commission-905786147 gris did up my bladesinger, such a cute style
felix the cat familiar came out adorably, very happy with that comm
I was invited to play in a game this weekend, so as a thank-you to the DM and the other players I went and printed off the characters we plan to play! Credit to MZ4250 for the sculpts!
Just finished a batch of dungeon tiles prints with print in place articulated doors! This technology is amazing
not sure if this might have to continue in off topic or not, but if I may ask. What printer are you using? And how much is it to print all this stuff? (Plus the cost of the blueprints I guess)
I might be wrong, but I think the designs are free.
And I think he was using an Ender 3 (?), which is <$200
These files are from Printable Scenery and are a mix of paid and free asset's
I'd been working on this map for 6 hours when I took this picture - around the moment that I went "wow, this is GOOD". Just put another 3 hours into it and am half-way done... so another 9 hours to go!
Looks great. You have insane patience.
I mean, it is my only gig these days besides playing RPGs. I'm either playing, making maps, or promoting my maps.
Very cool man. It looks great.
He's one of the official cartographers for WotC after all :V
Wait? What!? Haha. I’m an idiot.
lol
Speaking of cartography, finished this finaly
Nice
Capybaras
Paladybara
Wanted to draw my new character i’ll be starting this week; this is Oof, the Aarakocra gloom stalker ranger. I like the idea of a flying character that shoots from the shadows so that’s what I was going for with this fella.
Oof
LLama!
Best Llama
best animal
that is so cool!
Thanks!
WIP of my friends characters. 😄 Trying to make it like a coverbook art or something out of a title screen videogame 😄
The Dwarven Shrine at Mount Thorrien
When the dwarves departed this world after the great war, they left many structures, shrines, and temporary homes behind - locked up as they left for other worlds. The locked shrine is maintained by a solitary human caretaker now who doesn't have the means to unlock the front door but accesses the shrine via the old dwarven living chambers.
https://dysonlogos.blog/2022/02/04/release-the-kraken-on-the-dwarven-shrine-at-mount-thorrien/
Playing as a fantasy world chef, I feel the need to be extra. Idea concept for chef special foods: Hedgehog (for those who like a crunchy crust) and Rat (buttery glazed) bread rolls!
anyone know of any 3d model apps for figure mannequins?
Can I reshare this privately?
Some player character art I did a while ago.
Dope art but ehm that left hand is a right hand
better than sheep wool
way better
also high quality
way more expensive as well but its worth it
Maybe that character has two right hands like that character from JoJo.
🤣
WIP I want to finish this before tomorrows session D:
Done a commission design
WIP Update 😄
Done-so 😄 I am tired.
well, a lot of the art here are mainly drawings and minis... what easily accessible to me right now is the very first set of dice I made. Hope you like. ^-^
Looks really good
my warforged cleric named butter pecan! he was taken in by an older woman by the name of sorrel after being discharged once the end of the last war came along. i am already in love with him tee hee <3
Something about this vibe is so cool
Thanks
thank you!
WIP making a chibi adventurer
😄
@leaden merlin do not post memes/gifs
Oh, sry bout that.
WIP playing with colors is fun, yet time consuming :S
Working on a artificer but I'm trying to base it on mad max sorta. Here's my concept so far
I've been working on the beginning cosmology for my homebrew setting and I mapped out the four nearest planes. I think the graphic turned out pretty good though the names might change.
I went through the third edition Manual of the Planes and essentially combined properties of positive/negative energy, or alignment to come up with some variations of the elemental planes.
Yea the moon in style
You're only missing Bytopia
@ashen bobcat This channel is intended for D&D related artwork, hence being in the 'D&D Makerspace' category
I was listening to D&D session on yesterday. And this purple worm they fought they called it Frank. And drew on the token googly eyes and a mustache XD . So I drew the scene as it was happening.
I've never heard of Bytopia before. After doing a search it sounds really cool.
It’s my favorite gonzo outer plane!
dnd at its finest
Dove Falconhand, The Sparkled Harper and The Knight of Myth Drannor
This is part of my set to do the iconic family from the Forgotten Realms known as the Seven sisters. I'll post more as days goes on because I don't want to spam this channel with a bunch of art.

This is a really short story board of the session from sunday 😄 Comedy, NAT 1's, PC naming creatures in a funny way, Turn away a "helping hand", DRAMA and the famous "We will pick this up next session".
Reminds me of geralt somehow
My newest character idea.
Some summon design I did a while ago.
Aww
Dnd commission work 💖
https://twitter.com/chelslarsonart/status/1491095978879119360?s=21
Laerel Silverhand Arunsun, The Open Lord of Waterdeep and the Witch Queen of the North
Botched rendition of how the Shoreseeker's banner would look on the sails of the frigate that the players will use to navigate around the uncharted lands, called the Dawning Dream
Cool art and all but what does this have to do with dnd
There is not, no. There's an #non-dnd-topics channel, though
I mean the channel’s just called “arts and crafts”, I could be wrong but it doesn’t have to be 100% d&d art. Please do correct me if I’m wrong though, I don’t wanna spread any false info
Since it’s in the “D&D Makerspace” category, the intent is that it’s for D&D art.
Officially, #non-dnd-topics is the only place for non-D&D content.
Can't post images there.
Yooo picked up the pencil yesterday for the first time this year.. looking to get back into the swing of things so here’s an npc performer (:
Cool style.
Thanks so much @proper seal !
pretty! awesome work dude!
Thank u!! I colored the drawin!
Hey Guys! this is my latest character that I drew, what do you guys think?
Omg I love the proportions !! And the color is gorgeous !
I’m workin on our resident sorcerer
Like if Genie was done with Aladdin's sh*t
Come here so I can punch you
Very cool, what did you use to make that?
I'm not super great with digital art, but I'm decent with the good ol paper and pencil
I tried drawing one of the characters from my D&D campaign, here's how it turned out
Omg that’s FABULOUS
Thanks, I appreciate it!
I love all the details!!
I just finished adding legs to the torso-shot from earlier 😌
Got some woody textures on her, too .. tree friends !
lol
Thank you!
Waw I haven’t posted in a long time here. So many talented artists since have joined too!!! Y’all look great. Please witness my latest commission ☺️
Was this ever conferred with the other mods and admins? I remember being told there would be a discussion on it and that the result would be pinned in this channel, but I don't remember seeing a result from that
It has been confirmed by the other members of the team. We're just waiting on getting the pinned message updated
Ah, okay. Thank you. So no non-dnd stuff allowed?
Correct

WIP Beefy dwarven lass with a rocket hammer is coming along (with permission, based on original art by amberharris)
Time to do some classes on hair n faces to bring those up
Done in adobe medium, a vr sculpting program.
I'll eventually 3d print and paint this IRL
Click the top one for a 360 degrees turntable view
jj always coming back with the best pieces x3
Latest print (and latest edition to the pile of shame), a roc aka Big Birb
Dungeon master for scale
looks great
The end of the tail is still printing, but should be done soon enough
Then it's filling and priming
On a pillar it looks like?
Yeah
Looks very well done
That's cool.
Made a character sheet for my Aarakocra ranger, Oof. I used my cockatiel as inspiration for the facial features then combined that with a small hawk, then made his color palette reflect the gloom stalker bit as he also was made to explore the fey wilds.
looks very cute. very well made
Very cute.
Would this be a cool Monster to fight?
Oh that looks epic
Reminds me a bit of venom but not quite, that would be an awesome enemy
(wip)
more puzzles to solve
this is a player's mage in the D&D game I run.
How did you say you were making these?
Daz3D
Done a character commission.
Third attempt, but got the tail printed
Now for filling in those gaps, and then painting!
Most of my shelf of shame
You do not fight the monster the monster fights you, but yes very cool
tonight I tried making a world map for my fantasy anthology's setting. it was a hassle even finding the right map generator for how crazy I am, but after deciding to stick with the devil I knew (azgaar) and figuring out his quirks, I ended up struggling so much to get rid of the excess islands that I started all over and just drew a few of the continents back in to the best of my ability. these maps drove me crazy and I can't even stand to label the few points on them with names
How do you like those colored minis from Hero Forge? I’ve been thinking about getting one, but I’ve always been a little turned off by that white haze you see on them. I know they’ve adjusted their process on it, but I’m still on the fence. That one looks fairly clean though.
It's easier and more reliable than painting, and looks pretty good IMO
Compared to my painting skill level, I think it's as good if not better
Yeah, it looks great. I’ll probably pick one of mine up.
If they've improved on that, I bet it looks amazing now
Either this is an English language thing I don't understand or a joke..... I been inflicted with a case of confusion
It was a joke lol
Simpsons reference
I used a Crusader Kings 3 mod and a “painting” image filter to make a painting of the Queen of the realm…and her suspiciously-similar-looking forebears (not going to spam all of them into this chat, though)
Sketches.
Next location in my campaign
Did you do that? Looks cool
Yeah, thank you
this is my 3rd redesign i can’t decide what i want his whole outfit / aesthetic to be ;-;
definitely got a mori aesthetic going on, looking very nice ^w^
thanks ^^
oh, that`s very nice
Hey Guys! this is my latest character work, what do you think?
I colored her 🙌🏼
EEEEE that’s fabulous !!
Love the varied line weight, so smooth !!
Thank you thank you
@toxic loom I’m in awe, that’s so dope
lots of great art here
Tiefling Artificer i drew
please don`t punch me
Thanks!
AH the detail on this beauty !!
"there`s gotta be more in there, at least a drop"
Exactly ! ✨🙌🏼
really like the style 😄
Thanks so much ! ✨
ok, so I humbly present some art that I just finished. I drew in college...decades ago. My current campaign gave me inspiration to start drawing again. My daughter gave me encouragement to try digital art on my phone with an app.
This scene is from a moment when my dwarven battlemaster fighter, had been taken down unconscious 3 times by a spider queen within one round! Legendary actions, suck. The wizard, which had a "golden mode" and very close and dear friend, came down to heal her after the 3rd attack. While leaning down, my gal awoke, and while in a fog, and forgetting for the split moment they were still in battle. Feeling the warmth of the healing spell, doubled by the glowing mode, leaned up and kissed the wizard in a moment of passion. I present The Kiss.
Its only my 3rd drawing in this digital format. but I am pretty proud of it. 🙂 I welcome constructive 🥰 critics.
Nuzur Hollow – a small cave that has been pushed up above the waterline in an ancient cataclysm. The coral-encrusted throne was the seat of a locathah blackguard and those who sit in it invite a month of drowning dreams and restless sleep...
love this method of mapping!
I wonder how you get inspiration for your maps
I've been drawing 10+ maps a month for something like 13 years now. Hell, I wonder how I get inspiration for my maps.
Thanks, not everyone does, but thankfully WotC staff does too.
It’s a very evocative style
Tell me when you figure it out, good work!
A big part is definitely PLAYING a lot of RPGs instead of just running them. That fuels me.
WiP of my character in a game im playing in 😄
That's SIR Tighty-Whitey to YOU.
Aw... I miss the tighty whiteys
they are in there
my firbolg-flavored shifter had a big moment last session and now the party fears him 🙃
birb
Tutel
tutel
She looks like she has a Power Fist from the Fallout games.
Artificers :) we create anythin(with DMs discretion)
Lol.
Idea for my artificer chef character: crescent roll dragons
Maybe add some toppings
Coconut shavings and mint (Frost dragon)
cinnamon and chili powder (fire)
Stuffed with chocolate
Or a dragon turtle bun
I drew my character wandering through the woods after they were separated from the party.
A Human fighter with nothing special whatsoever.
work in progress
I can hardly see it but I can see it 😄 you using layers or all in one layer?
Layers
And it’s true what they say the guide sketch always looks better than the line art.
I want these in real life
Did a pixel art of my drow sorcerer
These are incredible! I can definitely see these in some sort of medieval fantasy bakery window!
A commission, badass tiefling 🙌🏼🙌🏼
ooooo
Map I've been working on for far too long...
MAPS 😄
I like everything about these maps except for the foNT WARping
sorry 😦 i thought it was cool
No, you should make things you think are cool!
Very turn of the millennium.
Dude this looks so sick
progress
in our campaign one of my past character caused a teleportation disaster so now my next character is a wanderer who was teleported into the frozen waste at the age of seven and awaked as shadow sorcerer with the hound of ill omen.
the weapon is my take on the shadow blade spell which is just an extension of thier rod/focus
oooooo
super cool
nice art too
i think the cape is super cool
🙂
is a party really a family if they're not dysfunctional? lol!
Tiamat and the Tarrasque fully assembled and filled. Tarry is a little off kilter due to the base shape, but that'll be fine once he's glued down after painting
Design of my chef character's meat cleaver with Return Weapon infusion. The ring on the handle is for comfort, control and to be able to twirl it like a revolver.
found some mistakes no one, including me caught...like there was no strap on the top of her pack. and I forgot the wizard was wearing bracer's of defense. now I think I can call it done...finalized version of TheKiss. 🙂
This counts as art, right? I spent some time earlier today messing around with code, to see what sort of look is possible for the Player's Handbook, with a sort of dark mode feel.
Disclaimer: this was something I did just for fun and isn't indicative of any ongoing work.
Wow. My hand hurts looking at that
Kilhelm has been finished
I'm basically done now... I put in about 19 hours on it.
I've put in more than that on one of mine, but that's because they were two identical mirror dimension maps with slight changes so that the players had to go in between and solve puzzles to progress - took a long time because I had to design it carefully
I've only drawn a few maps that took longer. One of which was a commission that I don't think will ever be published.
It's a tedious hobby, but I love designing my dungeons way more than using someone else's
I find it the opposite of tedious. It brings me joy.
Which is good, since it isn't a hobby for me.
Well it's a good tedious
Workin on a scene lol
Idk where to put this but i cosplayed my dnd character
My paladin!!
ooh, nice sword
sick, i love that
background next....
now looking at it i see i missed the hands/shoes
It's a map I made! I don't want to spam them, but there are a few on the Twitter so far, and I intend to make more. It's for my own campaign, but I'd like more eyes to see the maps 'cause maybe someone else could use them also!
Two maps I made for my campaign that didn't get that much love. If you wanna use them feel free to.
I do have an offer on my patreon to help me get better at making maps, so if you'd like to support my endeavors in doing so it's https://www.patreon.com/Derrkath.
a knight and his squire :- )
Dam that look good
Is reading the entire thing front and back in one sitting count as art
How do I fix this?
yikes
By adjusting your camera focus. 🙈
Yeah, it's sort of hard to tell exactly what happened with it being out of focus like that.
The frontier post of Redford Citadel keeps watch over its namesake - the primary crossing across Shelfbel Brook. Raised significantly above the hill it is built upon, it provides an excellent vantage over miles of wilderness around it.
Some player character commission I did a while ago
cute
gobbo
Holy moly they’re GORGEOUS

Muscles
Ah! This is so neat !
Love how u draw faces !! And the hair is so sleek!

The Det'Cefni base. This base is the home of survivors of a zombie esc apocalypse
Not one of my best maps imo but I didn't have enough time to really make it as detailed as I'd have liked
I animated a river going through my DF build. If you have a moment please check it out and let me know what yall think. https://www.instagram.com/p/CaAwk3ku203/
Did a sketch of the first big baddie my players took down in the Scarlet Citadel campaign I'm running.
HOLY MOLY THATS FANTASTIC
very spoopy
Thanks!!
more body type practice
Happy (Late) Valentine's day
I was listening to a D&D session in a Discord group. And a Player's Character confessed to another PC, I just had to try and capture such a moment and it was right before Valentine 😄
A Kobold confessing to a half orc after surviving a Dragon lich
cute
honestly I thought the kobold looked like a robot
Not mine, I found it on instagram.
from @ secondlina. Felt like it should be shared and maybe give a few people a laugh.
this is a player's ranger in a D&D game I run
finished a commission for a vtuber friend
Making a character for next campaign where we are thinking of going all bard.
Thinking of druid or monk as subclass
Omg I love your style this is siiiiick
That… is a fabulous idea
Finished and IMPROVED version for river animation......I hope! I cleaned up the areas that were duplicating too quickly and causing some eye strain. Overall it seems to flow more naturally to me now and not as jarring to the eye. Thoughts? https://www.instagram.com/p/CaC2r_VPaeP/
That’s pretty awesome

Lol that's actually pretty accurate
All arts and crafts shared must be related to D&D.
We like to encourage you to post your own arts and crafts, or the works of others just as long as you're clear what you made and what other people made. Credit where credit is due ❤️ So please attribute all creations appropriately. If you did not create a work, you must include credit to the artist who did.
Angharradh Pact of the Amulet Warlock.
@heady crag If you don't know the artist, please don't post it here. This isn't a general image sharing channel. Also all art shared should be D&D related
So my dnd group are planning on doing an in person game sometime (we've been playing online) and I want to make a map. I've been trying to find out what 'insulation foam' I can use for the terrain, walls, etc., but I have no idea where to start. Could you guys maybe point me in the direction of where I can find the right materials? Thank you!
Hey if anybody's practicing some art or whatever, I'd like some done on my Lava Genasi, you can dm if needed! (Sorry fi requests are prohibited, tell me and I'll delete this)
Just now realizing this may be just for figurines, so ignore that XD

I did a portrait of my party's female druid and barbarian
I realize I probably never be able to cosplay a character I came up with
Made a forest map with some landmarks - fey circle - ruins - burrow etc... 30x40 squares (200pixels per square) - enjoy 😉
Assets by Forgotten Adventures - final composition and rework by myself.
For all new or old GMs needing some inspiration. Feel free to steal and use. I ran this encounter as a magical trap with an illusion (DC 18 Investigation Check) to discern that the water is fake and actually leads to a 45 ft deep pit filled with Tar Oozes.
@glacial root @muted summit thats the spirit 👍 good job 👏
So, I was taking a picture of my work in progress on this city map for my socials when I accidentally dumped one of my bags of fantasy coins... and realized that this is ONE of two dice bags full of coins that I have not counting another small box of ones I don't use... I think I might have a slight coin obsession.
Oh my god this is gorgeous !! And the setup makes it even beTTER AAA
I’m workin on a scene and it’s taking ages
found some old pics of dice i made in 2020... this little baby, "love letter" is still my favorite. lives in my spouse's dice collection now 🥰
Omg that is so good 🥺🥺🥺🥺 @modest widget
Does anyone have any recommendations for a free drawing app on windows that is based on traditional art styles not editing like adobe illustrator?
Found this little beauty, should I make it a mimic or decorate in fake plants and things to make it look enchanted?

Hey peeps! Some of my recent works :D (commissions are open btw)
Some commission for Avatar themed campaign
Oh my CHRIST these are all fabulous ???!!! Do u have a Twitter or something cuz I will follow so fast
yeah these are amazing holy crap
I did find their artstation but it seems like they don't post too much there?
Swag, thats really cool. I'm still getting the hang on digital drawing but I do need to work on pov in my art. But seriously that is absolutely amazing
Hey there! Yeah, I’ve been away from the media until recently, I’m planning on submitting personal and commission pieces again!
Here’s the link to my twitter

The Elven Hideaway, I had something written out on my computer, so I'll edit this soon.
One of the players in a session I listen to from time to time 😄 She/he is a Changeling named Nyx
Looks sort of like a Shyguy
She is one shy guy
I see what you did there
Is this the proper place to inquire about finding an item artist? I am wanting a wire medallion with specific types of stones in it. I have reference images.
good question not sure if this is the right spot for that... but it is?
I think this is just a place for sharing your own art, not really to ask other people to look for them
People sometimes post about commissions in #dnd-advertisements but there are better places to find artists. r/dndcommissions is one such place, though it's more character-focused
I'm happy to do it!
Done some commission.
Nice, as per usual

Finished another group DnD piece! The party is tracking something on the outskirts of a snow laden city.

Very cool, what did you use to create that?
Im writing a poem and im using an abab format

backstory being, a woman traveled and was given a vision(cleric stuff) and was given 3 seeds to safeguard and use
which version better fits if you where to read it outloud? pls vote 1 or 2

Niceeee love the fashion
I need to find my Gator lady to post
why isn’t it posting the transparent one
Here’s my Goliath Barbarian alongside her sword and shield. I recently tweaked her art and that’s what I am showing now.
This one was made for a homebrew game with my friends, though we didn’t end up playing. Just mentioning it if anyone were to ask about the appearance of her gear.
There we go
Transparent
Also yes she’s wearing He-Man’a outfit
I don't know what her sword decorations materials are but I would of only done the shine on the edge of the blade. with some curving light on the guards but that's just me. Love the details on it though.
Ah thanks
It’s a mix of two swords from MOTU
The 2002 power sword and the 2018 sword of honor
Obviously for DnD the sword’s material and shield material are different
Just art it’s shiny
got no clue what to do beside base stuff
Spent a long time trying to get this to look as close as possible to what you see in the modules. Not very close at all, but I’m still happy with it
This could be my new character for the next Campaign
Hey guys here's a character sketch I'm currently working on! What do you guys think?
Here’s my Gator Lady that I got a character sheet for
She may look intimidating but rest assured she’s kind!
thank u so much !!
nice
Cursed tavern owner
Arina - The Godess of Warmth and Mending
Homebrew Quasi Deity. ✨
I absolutely love this Totally not biased about the fact that it's a mantis styled character
Qualren the once a bean, now a full steak (not my art, commissioned to my friend)
the leg armor reminds me a little of absolver
This is the correct version oops
The previous one's boots weren't finished
Also idk, just liked the idea of him collecting scrap metal to use as makeshift armor
fair enough
i dunno if he can carry a zweihander, but the outfit was perfect for him
Made it bigger
Some art I've done for my homebrew campaign
I’m definitely still working on it but here’s a show far, I’ll probably pay someone to do a redraw of it
v2 of the potential next character I might use
Some adventurers at a tavern bar
Yeah!
That's gauge!
Two tails?
Yeah. Kinda of a long story. In a campaign he was in we kinda bet his other tails in a gambling ring. Originally he had 9.
Ah
Meowdy
I am like 85% sure thats a jerma refrence there
Potential warforged design + twitch icon
Another DnD group piece finished! A caravan over the moorlands.
Flavia, my cavalier fighter in our current campaign. Left home to bring her idiot son back before he got himself killed but now finds herself in the middle of a continent-spanning war. It's been a hot minute since I've drawn anything but am looking forward to improving.
Character concept/ perspective study (dwarf barbarian)
some room for improvement but I got no say in the perspectives I need a lot of work on that stuff
I dont think im going to fully render it but here’s a piece of the party i dm for a couple sessions ago:
Lol
Paladin Half-Orc Aegis and my Bard Changeling Phoebe. This was so fun to draw 🥴🥴
Making my own D&D travel case with built in dice tower.
I intend to store a small note/sketch pad in the lid

Ye
Drawziet! :D
nuh i still can/could do better
@faint elbow This channel is for D&D related arts and crafts, per the pinned rules
ah i see sorry
My friend did a sketch of my dnd character Wattwell Baublewocket.
The Arcane Sinkhole
Arcane waters have created a sinkhole that nearly consumed the ruins of an old homestead beside it. The waters are infused with magic, and there are strange things to be found down here...
Early craft project; cardboard dice tower
Used to have a dragon wrapped around it but the design proved too complex for the integrity of the materials.
My current travel case project is coming along well. Fold out Dice Tower with room for single bag of dice and room for a mini and room for sketch/notebook. I can use the lid as a stand for my phone to display my character sheet or rule book reference. It's not heavy enough to stand up without some assistance, but it's a minor flaw.
Weird question anyone got a dragon skull template it’s for a cosplay
My newest works!
chillin
This is incredible. Did you make your own molds?
I love this art style
hmm... almost like my groups caravan they well lets say we killed cultists...
also cool
These are great, what sort of inclusions you got in there?
Felan, the druid of our campaign✨ I love that little feral child so much, He tamed an owl bear with a nat 20 and called him Crumbs and became our Tank lmao
still wip, but i love crumbs
aww
also damn!
Hey guys! I'm working on a Tiefling this time, thinking about painting him what do you guys think?
Incredible job dude.
Thank you"
Wow!
Pyramid of the Prince in Silver
Ages of neglect have destroyed the wooden stairs that used to lead up to the top tier of this stepped pyramid dedicated to the Prince in Silver - a warlord from distant lands who ruled this state eight hundred years ago.
https://dysonlogos.blog/2022/02/26/pyramid-of-the-prince-in-silver/
This reminds me of Pokemon mystery dungeon for some reason
cute cyborg boi
I love him so much
@glacial root This is not a general image sharing channel. This channel is for sharing your own original D&D artwork or the credited D&D artwork of others
I made a big detailed map in wonderdraft of the Ildaralth Sea, which is in my homebrew world. I then made a copy, shrank it down considerably, turned it into a "treasure map" style map with smoother coasts, paper color scheme, and a bunch of small islands just plain missing. I loaded the detail map into owlbear rodeo, and then cut the simple map into pieces and laid them on top. I'll remove pieces as they get close enough to "see into" those squares. Picture is of DM view in obr, with some of the tiles set to "hidden" so you can see the full-color map underneath. Pretty thrilled with how it came out, all-told.
drow monk (with distant yuanti heritage if you look closely 🐍 )
love the boots 👢
they're made for walkin!!
This is amazing!
Friend @feuepine#3344 drew this of my character while practicing with color palettes, it came out good so I wanted to share!
No! I order master molds from Druid dice! I do not want to work with silicone 😅
I have ferns & forget me nots!
Here’s a better look at them!
My very bad warlock sketches
Very very VERY rough start to my dragon skull helmet for cosplay
reminds me a little of the monster hunter bone helmet which looks amazing
It could be, I used the base templates of someone else, but I’m changing parts of it

#art #dndart https://t.co/MBs1ytXatc
They look cool
Now THAT is a short skirt.
more like an apron than a skirt xP
It is an apron. Lol. I’m not trying to answer how centaurs wear pants or skirts. 🤣
Your just missing some horns and that's it... Since it a skull not much paint is needed
Oh I’m working on those now, after I fill in the gaps
These are beautiful! How would you make something like this, if you care to share? I would love to make dice someday but I don't know where/how to start
Any blue ones with silver numbers?
My dhampir aberrant mind sorcerer, drawn by The Illustrated Spellbook (https://instagram.com/illustratedspellbook?utm_medium=copy_link).
Finally got around to finish this piece (F.Assimar Bard - College of Spirits)
Fun fact: Cards he's holding are card from the Deck of Many Things we got and so far drawn.
Wow just spent a while trying to replicate the official dnd map style
i think you did a pretty good job in replicating the style
Thanks! Honestly didn't take much longer than my Dyson logos style ones, might just do these from now on
What did you use to make it? It looks great!
@static galleonYour image isn't loading, you might want to try again
first step to creating a campaign: make the npcs fall in love
also i hope you don't mind but I'mma yoink this and put this in my map collection. I like WotC's style of maps and you replicated it well.
Good solid step just make sure you don't accidentally make the players fall in love 😅
Made my characters outfit into a doll outfit.
Dice are hard to make but you learn. It's a pretty long process so I don't want to overcrowd this channel with it but if you want to message me I can explain it! Or try to anyways haha
I just made a blue set but with gold numbers actually. I haven't made anything blue with flowers.
Here’s the blue set!
Those are really cool! I'm learing how to make resin dice.
Thank you! I have been doing this for little over a year, but only for about two months with a pressure pot haha
I think if you find blue cornflowers that might work?
Oooohhh that’s true! I usually order dried flowers but I recently got a bunch chamomile, so I’m planning to put that in dice as well
Done a player character design commission.
Painted a Princes of the Apocalypse party for a commission
Procreate, thanks!
for some reason this makes me think of old mortal kombat art
which really is accentuated by the whole "hell" background
i like it a lot
also dude in the foreground looks like he could crush something with his eyebrow muscles, awesome
lol just gotta distract them with some romanceable NPCs instead
redrew an old character of mine
Recent work in progress (from Saturday) that I'm pretty happy with.
Amazing. And it’s all hand drawn, not digital? What happens if you mess up, or do you not mess up xD
Also is that to scale?
I do a mix of pen and paper and direct to digital. Depends on the map. The stuff I do on stream is always digital because my eyesight is so bad that when I'm drawing pen and paper I'm about an inch away from the page.
Mistakes are "happy little accidents" and you just run with them.
Generally speaking I draw at 4 squares per inch, 10 feet per square (traditional D&D scale).
Since most of my work is meant for publication, I work at scales that print well in books, adventures, zines, etc.
I know I'm not super active in terms of messaging here but I always look at this channel and especially your posts, just wanted to say that your work is amazing–I would never have the patience that you do, especially with pen and paper! On one hand it's a little painful to look at because it looks so tedious 😅 , but on the other hand all of your work looks beautiful :D
Thank you! Fortunately I love doing this, and it has turned into a viable income stream so effectively all I do these days is play RPGs and draw maps.
Literally living all our dreams
Hey guys! Here's my latest commission work, what do you think?
I like it
Some commission that I did a while ago.
quick sketch of my dnd character
ooh, short hair very cute
Very nice
rendered the piece a bit
Feel free to look through #dnd-advertisements to see which artists are available.
Ok I’ve finally finished this after adding some details and boosting the resolution. I present Qeorenth Ravine, the hideout of the Cult of the Green Wings
Working on my new dnd Characters childhood intro or backstory .
Very interesting, what's the story if you care to share?
still thinking bout it, woman being chased by authorities or something ( leaving that for the DM to do what he wants with that) the baby left at a door and a lady( tiefling maybe) takes the baby in her care and lastly a drawing of the new family he grows up with. To the bottom left is the little kid ( baby) thats what i have so far.
:0
working on a Barovia map - cause reasons. and simply cause fun 😄
btw - viewing the image at full scale seems necessary to appreciate it. stuff is weird 😛
This looks great, and damn near like something right out of the modules.
Thanks! I hope to make more
Sculpting up an orc knight in VR, based on art by lintangwijaya. Lot still to do, gunna redo the hair and get that base detailed, but I'm sick of looking at it tonight XD
You're clearly getting there. nice job. 👍
Thanks friendo
Ciradyl and Faron, Gilynore siblings, two powerful Elven mages from my Homebrew DnD world. I really put a lot of effort into this, I hope you all like it!
Got some mushy gushy stuffs
halls of justice
Some player character vs monster commission I did a while ago.
Adventures around Jalovhec
Today I'm re-releasing this hexmap from three years ago under the commercial use license. This was an experiment in hexmap styles when I was eyebrows deep in drawing maps for The Fantasy Trip's Legacy Edition Kickstarter.
https://dysonlogos.blog/2022/03/03/release-the-kraken-on-the-adventures-around-jalovhec-hexmap/
cool, but the facial expression looks out of place
I present Pridwen Cavern! A rather simple cave map for future D&D exploits! https://t.co/MTbrFC1S0e
Made a Barovia Map for Curse of Strahd. You can grab it here -> https://www.reddit.com/r/CurseofStrahd/comments/t5xqru/barovia_map_with_and_without_location_names/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
Cause so many people like it i'm gonna do a little update too and might add torn map pieces.

Aww
Debating what i make my next character, i settled on monk and one of the animal races, but coudlnt decide which one, so i decided to draw them all as some different subclasses
Owlin - Mercy
Lizardfolk - Ascendant Dragon
Tabaxi - Shadow
Loxodon - Drunken Master
Harengon - Open Hand

This portrait I've been working on for some days is now done: https://twitter.com/EnriquePhoenix1/status/1500527154836221954?t=jtXqU452y1i_-IbgTDX9ug&s=19
This is a portrait of Lady Strahd, the genderbent version of Strahd that is facing my party in a modified Curse of Strahd campaign we started playing November last year.

working on token borders for use in foundrys tokenizer. never did them before - fun process figuring out some things and making new ones. 😄
Hey just finished this Tiefling portrait! What do you guys think?
Amazing! love the four horns, gives them a very uniquely demonic look, and the rim lighting is chefs kiss
Thanks!
i think that would be better placed in #dnd-advertisements ^^"
Big server, mistakes happen. Just move it over there.
Personally I think you miss a good opportunity to make a canine themed character AKA Hong Kong Phooey!
part2
"I approach to sneak attack" wip of my centaur rogue idea 😄
thinking he should be zebra striped too, for added camouflage
A horseman sneaking up on you would definitely be considered a surprise in my book xD
Zebraman
Zebrataur
that would imply the normal one is a horsetaur, and im for it
Horsetaur
Zebrataur
Donkeytaur
Muletaur
Unicorntaur
Alji, the Lizardfolk Fighter. 🦎
This is my 6 year olds dnd character. Naturally, he is chaotic and delightful. 💙

Here's a warmup sketch of a Halfling to start my day ☕
The Ruins of Shagunat Keep
These old ruins are now home to a "mercenary company" which is pretty much the gentrified (and better armed & trained) version of a bandit camp
https://dysonlogos.blog/2022/03/07/the-ruins-of-shagunat-keep/
Added colors ❤️
so far.. I need 1 or 2 more and thats it for the backstory art 😄

Poggo Doggo
Birb.
a very handsome bird
Redoing my cavalier's armor since the original was light on protection for places like the neck and didn't suit the look I had visualized in my head.
Also, scale mail/lamellar armor is really underrated imo
mmmm warforged pirate lady
!!!peacock
Painting I did of my Halfling Rogue from another game.
so I gave a pigeon magic on accident and now it glows purple and is on a power trip
pigeons have always emitted an intimidating aura so i don't see anything different
Half orc
Two commissions done! Phew
I think you posted this backwards?
I’ve finally after 2 Years redrawn my first ever DnD character, she is a High Elf Wizard. ☺️
Had a labyrinth nightmare last night, so tried to expunge it this morning by starting on this monster of a map.
epic
@toxic loom Please don't use this channel for general image sharing
If i have any art I’ve made thats dnd related can i share it here?
Please do!
As a preface one of my friends got turned into a root beer bottle by a wild magic surge so i decided to make some art of what his character got transformed into.
I just started doing digital art after my divorce but I’ve been playing dnd for about a decade and this is one of the craziest things that has ever happened in a serious campaign.
Let me guess . It was a tabaxi?
If I had to guess, I'd say it's an anthropomorphic can of root beer
These ruins along the shattered Dorn river are some of the last standing structures of the ancient Kale city of Steldin Dorg - once the east gate of the city, they now mark where expeditions have gone into the old ruins due west of here.

Drafting ideas for taverns/signs.
The Old Familiar: this tavern is possessed by a ghostly old Mastiff that used to be the familiar of the original owner. Completely harmless, just likes to wander around, rifle through the garbage, and sit by the fire.
The Rotting Stag: cut off from civilization by the treacherous swamp surrounding it, this tavern stands as a makeshift safe haven.
The White Lion: upper class tavern in the Royal district, but known to house a few underworld dealings...
Yeah he really liked cats i guess the eyes gave it away
So, i had a phase where i was drawing dnd characters and then i stopped, then i started drawing godzilla characters as more anime-esq girls. Then i thought to myself " Self, why cant you make custom species, balance them, then make the human-like monsters into D&D characters i mean people do it all the time for pokemon species, why cant i do that for monsters?" And well, this was one of the first ones, Biollante.
Kind of a cutie 💗
Would you be interested in the other one i am working on?
only have her picture done, didnt do anything for making species yet
Keep at it man I like to see where this is going
i had ideas for like, flight, Elemental attack, and regen traits similar to the monster in the movie uh, monster zero
Not sure how that would play out you might have to talk to your DM about that
yeah hes pretty helpful when it comes to balancing traits and stuff, especially since most of the time hes gonna be the one DMing
obviously flight in a indoor enviornment is pointless, and i would probably make the elemental attack usable once then needing a long rest, and maybe even a turn to charge up.
I’m drawing characters from the current campaign i’m in using the Vox Machina show style, or at least trying to get as close as I can do it. Here’s the first one done, this is Lord Danton and he happens to be one of the main baddies of the story, that’s all I can say mwah ha ha
Funny bard man
that looks very good, but is the eyeball a crystal or a uh... real one
So much orange
commission of my friends dnd character!
Thanks! It’s a beholders eye, so real one 👁
this looks amazing. really enjoy this one. 👍

Doggo
Thanks mate!
Just got done painting 26 goblins, finished just 6 hours before a session where the players have planned to storm a goblin lair
There’s
6 Goblin Cutters
4 Goblin Archers
4 Goblin Fighters
3 Goblin Champions
3 Goblin Booyaghs
2 Goblin Barbarians
2 Goblin Hunters
1 Snow Goblin
1 Goblin Boss
And a partridge in a pear tree?
Absolutely
The first of two commissions for @CrimeFest2015. This first one is his order domain cleric, Elizabeth's, combat attire.

Ruins of Brollmoreth
Built where Brollmoreth, Demon of Shallow Graves and Patron of Silent Children, erupted from the stone where a drop of Demogorgon's blood fell in an ancient battle, this abandoned shrine still draws strange visitors in modern times.
I get burnt out making puzzles cant imagine myself ever doing something like this, good work!
This looks amazing, I love seeing the story play out
thanks
Niz, another character from my homebrew campaign!
Updated version, not much of a dif, but added this dramatic highlight
Why does this remind me of my hero academia?
idk, prob half red, half white boy from it, but this concept is much different xD
She is gorgeous-
Thank you so much ❤️
Some fun collage of my recent art
You're welcome
Wildfire Druid of mine! :)
I fricking love your art, do you do commissions?
Yes I do
Thank you

My guess fae Cat/Kat got their arm? It reminds me of my character...
been using artbreeder to help myself and my friends visualize each others' characters and other npcs and i finally came up with a good representation of my 15 yr old halfling
Any body know a good art app for windows that's free and follows the more traditional style of painting?
The tools I've heard most of are Krita and GIMP.
Gimp is more an editing tool tho and not really great for drawing afaik
It's the equivalent of Photoshop, which I have professional artist friends who do their entire paintings and other works of art in.
Microsoft paintg? I know of someone who made their drawings with it. Not lying here. They got a few videos on youtube too. https://www.facebook.com/112066532192155/posts/3796791907052914/?sfnsn=mo
See posts, photos and more on Facebook.
She made this with microsoft paint. Remarkable Girls. If I remember she started doing the finishing touches like blurry effects and lighting with photoshop.
really nice artwork!
Here you go, Twitter. This is what you wanted. Based on some recent questions, you wanted a Minotaur Fey Wanderer Ranger. 🤷 Here’s our boi.
Tell me: what’s his name?

Word is small orange demons have been summoned by a foul demonologist in the ruins of Fort Redshield and have been pilfering from the goatherds for sacrifices...
But woe betide the adventurers who follow this up. Those aren't a few demons - the whole fortress suddenly boils with angry goblins when disturbed.

aaaand oops i finished it
Nice
Love the simplicity even though it has much detail
Love it
Just redesigning my current character since they lost an arm... And we'll has another scar... And I designed their bladestaff
