one of the easiest models to paint for dnd ever. Has two components, the inner goo with bones and items inside then the cube itself that goes over it. Just paint the bones and items, then the inner goo some blue vallejo ink with green vallejo ink lightly added via drybrush. And just green ink drybrushed on the cube

The shield is the superior choice because the edges of it as it tapers toward the end can be sharpened. A strong enough arm can lunge punch it into openings, shield bash enemies away or prone and then be used to deflect/protect against missile attacks.
