I think the martials just got a slight power boost with that.

If I may reccomend something. I start small by sketching the most fundamental shapes. For a spear I start with a triangle on a rectangle and then slim down, add detail and refine the design.

I just plug my headphones in, blast some music and draw whatever works.

Pencil work takes anywhere from 10 minutes to half an hour depending on complexity, inking the outline only takes about half as long and the colouring takes the longest.

Sadly I don’t have anyone to play dnd with but If I did I would wanna play this character. Her name is Tala and shes from a town that despises Tieflings like herself, they were outcast, tormented and just treated like they were a piece of trash. So a couple while they were pregnant prayed to the gods for a blessing. Sadly it looked like the gods didn’t respond. The only thing different about their child seemed to be her Albinism. So the tormenting never stopped and only got worse. People said their child was cursed and thats why she looked that way. They had two more children but those were born normal luckily. One day while she was playing outside with her siblings the bullying went too far. One of her sisters was killed by the neighboring kids. In a fit of despair and rage her magical abilities were revealed. The prayer al those years ago resulted in a Devine soul sorcerer child. She didn’t know how to control her magic so in her fit of rage she killed not only the neighbor kids but also her other sister. After this she was run out of town never to return. Her own parents disowned her. So she went to explore the world searching for magic strong enough to bring her sisters back

The concept behind his character is that he is the aspect of life. The inspiration behind this character is a mythical creature phoenix, and I wanted to try something different.

He has a tattoo which also embroidered within his cloak.
These or pattern have 2 significances of his entire character.

V shaped tattoo this symbolizes Purpose, Circle Shaped this emphasize Balance
These 2 elements are what complete what "Life" is.

Accessories:
Ancient Scissors - This will be the tool to cut off the burden of the person he will encounter when they are in a hard place.

Violin/Bow- This instrument produces an elegant melody that will ease one's heat and mind.

Crystals (Hair): These are the souls of the people that made a significant change when they encountered the "Bard"

Whenever someone is in a bridge of giving up, a melody of the violin will be heard from a bard that will show the path for their purpose and restore balance.

Looks very neat. I'd make everything under the HP/ death saves line the same lighter colour as the top boxes, and add component notation to the spells.

I'd also do a combat reference sheet for the table, one for skills and some example uses, and possible a really condensed one for the rules of magic.

She wears the bone mask in an attempt to appear more dangerous to potential predators to try and keep them away from her animals. But under there’s she’s actually a cutie.

kinda leaning more towards anachronistic theming here, since hes supposed to be a reformed bandit who sort of dons a religious vow semi-hesitantly since he’s new to the whole thing, so i thought leaning into the alt-fashion would be cute! BUT i didnt like how the final product looked, especially with the clash between the ceremonial facial ornaments,ents and the fishnets so im trying to make it more consistent

going for more of a Guilty Gear Strive design philosophy of just consolidating different design aspects into something cool

Ooo, she’s sorta a morally gray hyper-individualist trophy hunter who followed her tribe’s tenants of proving one’s dominance over nature despite their meek sizes but she turned into a hesitant aristocrat after settling down for love and ended up being a successful author by publishing fiction and informational beastiaries based on her exploits—all the while, she tends to an magical bird (could be a newborn pheonix, or thunderbird or elemental bird— just needs to be blue) to replace her previous steed that died of old age

She resents her husband (who’s meek, a pushover and a bit of a homebody) despite acknowledging that his love was genuine because she finds the settled life a bore and believes she wasted her own youth to a love confined to mundanity and is partially relieved at the start of the campaign when he succumbs to fever in the winter

And begins anew to get back to killing things the moment she can finally auction off her estate and be done with her husband’s funeral

For anyone who cares.
I built a table for my dnd campaigns it’s been very satisfying to go from and idea to something physical. The photos I have are very rough but I’m very happy to say it’s in the final stage before being v1.5.
In the last photo and video it had a few problems like space on the table and cable management in v1.0 but with v1.5 it’s fixing that. Just waiting for the stain to dry before I put her all back together for the campaign this weekend!
