We're playing in a homebrew setting. Very basic setup is that humans long ago have founded a kingdom they kicked everyone else out of, into the dangerous and hostile lands to the north. Majority of the campaign is taking place there, and the human kingdom is this looming threat in the background. It's meant to be a twist on the classic fantasy formula of the Righteous land of humans and the Evil land of monsters.

This guy right here is Sir Yvain, the Golden Lion. He's the greatest hero of the human kingdom. He is a paladin of great power, and even greater ego. Charismatic, universally loved (in his kingdom) and universally feared (outside of it). He is so high on his own hype, he is almost convinced he is greater than the god he serves.

Ok so I wasn't as happy as I wanted to be with the first Cryptex. Had some small tolerancing issues, and was easy to crack by prying wafers apart and reading bearing positions. Moreover, the relative major diameter of the assembly and the inner diameter of the compartment was terrible. For a 4.5 inch wide tool the compartment was a mere 1.7in wide, terrible space usage. It also could just look so much better....

14 dials, 52 coded characters per dial. Every character can be repositioned on every wheel as the DM desires. For example, a DM could require multi-line solutions. Partial decoder text is on the body of the tool itself, a key will be presented narratively to the players in game.

Generally I do an oval/semicircle of some sorts, a smaller one inside for the eye, and a thin line inside for the pupil itself (though most of my characters are NOT humans)

I'm using this as a base for a travelling legendary item maker NPC who travels from battle field to battle field, making unique weapons from the dead.

The NPC is actually Hephaestus in disguise.

Update - My NPC has no name, instead plays a haunting tune as his name. He is able to take out an infinite number of weapons out of seemingly nowhere, and sharpens them, combines them with strange material and throws them away if unhappy.

If satisfied with the new weapon made up for a previous blade and dead organic powerful matter, the NPC either sells it or throws the weapon into a random dimension, letting it cause chaos and change fate.

He is also a quest giver, encouraging the party to fight and kill more and more powerful monsters for no reason than to make weapons from their corpses. He just knows where monsters are, without any reason why.

Secretly a god, eventually the party will boss fight him when they come across the corpse of a fallen god, and the NPC will want to use it to make a weapon that could open rifts and destroy the very fabric of the world.

so i don’t have much to say; your shading is great! it’s just the lips and the highlighting around it. because the lips and skin is attached, you don’t want it to look too separated or elevated. also, the lip is 3d || (forget everything i just said) || on the face, and the highlighting is coming from the top, so there should be minimal light on the bottom.

A little bit outside of the usual arts and crafts, I've designed and printed a series of DM'ing tools for transporting your books, dice and all other goodies. It consists of a grid system you put inside an IKEA storage box, and a set of straps and handles for carrying

Starting there, you can then add book bumpers, a magnetic dice tower, or even clips to turn the box lids into a DM screen. There are also some storage bins.

I'm looking for advice on this character design. I wanna make sure it makes sense with his lore. To put it simply he is a Cambion. His mother was a drow so he grew up in drow society, his mother hated him for looking like his father, so much so she cut off his wings and he now bears permanent scars. He left and escaped that place being a disgrace to drow society. He is now a tax collector disguised as a Tiefling warlock on the surface. Thanks! I got the paper and twine from a local craft shop. Super easy to make. I also use physical coins and gems for the players too, and even made my own health potion bottles. Not with any liquid. Took small corked bottles, threw in the appropriate d4s and labeled them. Just little things to make the campaign more interactive. With the same paper I made wanted posters, maps and letters etc for optional quests.

The housing is complete and assembled. I have a number of test pieces that are being painted by my girlfriend right now with a few different techniques, will share when we have a winner.

I mean it looks pretty good, the armor has logic etc. I think your proportions are off, I’d make the arms larger and longer so the hands don’t start at the stomach and instead start at the upper thigh. :)
