Finally time I post something here to share. So hi everyone, I'm a game designer and character artist. Been spending the last week or 2 putting together a portfolio of character designs and wanna see what folks think

For context; I'm hoping to apply to hit point press, so I've began designing fully fresh new characters this week. This first set Are all my personally design custom DnD class; The Magician. Each one is it's own subclass; Daredevil, Escapist, Jester, Mindboggler, Riffler and Showstopper

This set is all all new subclasses of my own design made with existing DND species

Gnome Bard (College of Puppetry), Wood Elf Druid (Circle of Whimsy). Human Fighter (Untold Legend), Hobgoblin Paladin (Oath of Comradery), Goblin Rogue (Covert Agent), and a Warforged Wizard (Mirromancy)

no turnmarounds yet, those are next on my to do list

And this last current set are all new playable species of my own creation with existing subclasses

no turnarounds for these ones yet either, but eventually!

Mostly depends whether it's for an illustration or, say, a character token/reference. If you're drawing for the love of the game, the 1st is more interesting. The 2nd one would be easier to look at in a token/visual reference for the character.

Printed and painted skill based dice by Deck of DM things. Added magnets around to symbolize amount of retries. Also added cap with magnet to easily take bearings out and prevent them from rattling inside :). Also had a failure on the bottom cause of bad bed leveling, but it just looks like a damage on the stone surface, so really happy how it turned out.

An antagonist I designed
She's a version of the main character from another world, except she made a pact with a dark god and killed her own sister AND the dark god she made a pact with and then absorbed both of their powers, ascending to godhood. She rules The Void, and travels from universe to universe rending each one apart and bringing back the remnants from each world back to The Void to build her realm.
She likes to hunt down each universes version of herself and steal their soul before she ensues universal annihilation, turning the souls of each version of herself she harvests into dark shadowy crows that fly around her. Wherever she goes, a murder of crows follows, earning her the name Nevermore.

Trying to redesign my Spelljammer Spirit Warrior from last year. It’s based on a ladybug and a giraffe weevil. The mech has a normal head, and a dragon-like cannon head. The body turns into a spiky ball and the dragon head acts as a handle so other Spirit Warriors can use it as a flail.

For my homebrew fey themed game I'm working on, I've decided to use some pictures of celebrities for the tokens for the archfey, but photoshopped to have them look more fey like. So far I have Natalie Domer as Titania, Anya Taylor Joy as an ice queen of sorts I might just make up on my own. Florence Pugh is another I'll probably just make up.

I was only curious if anyone had suggestions for both Oberon and the Queen of Air and Darkness.

It’s really not that big of a problem, I can see that it comes from the original concept drawing. I think a way to make it less noticeable is to make the lines blurred. But it looks good in the second image, so I don’t know. But it’s just a suggestion.

Once a legendary General of my Homebrew Kingdom (Shantura) he protects the Armory of Shantura.
With his legendary Armour embued by the 3 Dragons he slayed (the eyes) he can summon fallen soldiers who died an honourable death in battle.
(Being summoned by him is like Valhalla for them, the biggest honor) His ice serpent sword, crafted and enchanted by the Shamans of his kingdom, it chills the area around him and freezes enemies when cut by the sword.

I‘m thinking of making his fight a little gimmick-y but idk if Gimmick fights are really good in a dnd campaign

He was raised by giants and is a fairly inexperienced guy when it comes to the world of regular sized folk (he himself is about 7 feet tall). Basic lore for some Darkest Dungeon OCs that are soon to be NPCs for a DD D&D campaign

The Mercenary/Hawkwood: A soldier of fortune who turned to the Darkest Estate after being promised a large sum of gold should he live through his expeditions. He holds many regrets, going to this hamlet is one of his greatest.

The Druid/Keyleth: A woman of nature, she visited the hamlet out of curiosity for the wild animals dared not approach, other than the crows and rats. She agreed to help the Heir as he promised her that he would give sanctuary to the animals.

The Priestess/Joan: She helps across the abbey, assisting those who come to worship the Flame. She was born here in the hamlet, and she will likely die here.

The Heir/Castillon Teneber: A liar, manipulator, and heir to the estate, Castillon does everything he can to fix what his ancestor did all those years ago, even if it isn't morally correct. Not like the nobility here was ever morally correct...
