Charactes: Neket, Elf Illusionist Wizard, and Darael Smithy, Half Elf Trickery Cleric
Neket is a gifted young wizard from Timinhur, an elven city with strong ties to the moon. She has studied all schools of magic but has a certain inclination towards illusion magic that twists the perception of reality and dazzles the senses.
After remaining trapped in a cryophagus for sixteen years, Neket had to flee Timinhur to escape the Selenian Idea, an ambitious coup that turned her nation into a sterile and oppressive regime, and transformed most of its people into spellforged constructs, able to survive on the barren moon of Naam.
Now on the run, Neket must rely on unlikely allies to remain free and perhaps find a way to help more of her people escape the oppression of the Selenian Idea.
Neket is one of my own characters in Theomachy!
About the Theomachy setting:
In Theomachy, vengeful gods fight each other for ultimate control of the universe, while the mortals of Naam struggle for power on a dying world. Divine magic is a force without expressed will that the warring gods hoard and wield against each other, threatening to undo the entire world. Clerics and paladins are either devout followers of the warring gods or theomachists who fight against the gods, liberating divine magic and using it against them.

Character: Hazel Loydaye, Human Wizard and Thief, with Eyes of Rolim and Shuffleflush's Stinky Shoes
Abandoned as a child, Hazel grew up on the streets and eventually became a member of the thieves’ guild. She stayed with the guild until a con gone wrong introduced her to Cece Loydaye. Cece had a flair for life that slowly chipped away at Hazel's loneliness.
Hazel began learning magic and arcane tinkering from Cece. But while Cece created proper magical items and potions, Hazel's experiments always seem to go awry... whether intentionally or not.
After many years together, Cece started to get sick. Hazel grew desperate as clerics seemed unable to cure Cece of this sickness and started collaborating with her previous contacts in the guild, looking for stronger magic to rid Cece of her ailment. Wanting to protect Hazel from the guild, Cece tried to intervene. This led to Cece's death… and Hazel's madness.
Today, Hazel continues to craft magical items in the home she shared with Cece, but her experiments have been growing more unstable and unusual. She sells potions and other experiments in the corner of busy markets, spinning grand tales around the magical items she pulls from her bag. Due to the nature of her magical items, she is slippery – always having an escape route down an alley as needed.
Those that might gleam more of Hazel's true intentions notice chaos dancing in her eyes. Does anyone truly know what she might be planning next?

A determined dragonborn paladin I drew!
Character: Torrin Cruxate, Dragonborn Oath to the Crown Paladin
Torrin Cruxate, aka Crux, was a born fighter, leader and all-out tactician who serves under King Gareth of Damara. Crux was found fighting some of the city guards with nothing but his bare hands, protecting what was soon to be a close companion of his: a spider by the name of Aragno.
Soon after he was arrested, the King himself came to him and offered him two choices. To die right here and then or join him and become his champion to exterminate all those that stand against him and protect his people. Soon after that, Crux proved himself in battle and became a powerful officer in the army. Those who know Torrin Cruxate understand he is a powerful ally and even worse enemy as he will stop at nothing to get the job done.

Character: Zulsu, Half-Elf Life Cleric and Celestial Warlock
Born into a family of executioners and public servants, Zulsu was raised as an executioner himself. But when his first kill was exonerated the next day, Zulsu was overwhelmed with guilt and prayed to Tyr for judgment and the god of justice decreed that Zulsu must devote his life to saving innocent from thereon.
Today, Zulsu is both prideful and terrified of anything happening to his friends. His unicorn patron, Kimber, blessed him with more magic to keep his friends safe. Zulsu also has a direwolf pup named Boromir. Too young to fight, Boromir generally hides behind Zulsu and howls during battle.

Darael is playing tricks at Neket as she tries to write a new spell in her spellbook. He’s mischievous, but she doesn’t really mind! It takes a man faithfully dedicated to trickery in order to trick an illusionist!
Charactes: Neket, Elf Illusionist Wizard, and Darael Smithy, Half Elf Trickery Cleric
Neket is a gifted young wizard from Timinhur, an elven city with strong ties to the moon. She has studied all schools of magic but has a certain inclination towards illusion magic that twists the perception of reality and dazzles the senses.
After remaining trapped in a cryophagus for sixteen years, Neket had to flee Timinhur to escape the Selenian Idea, an ambitious coup that turned her nation into a sterile and oppressive regime, and transformed most of its people into spellforged constructs, able to survive on the barren moon of Naam.
Now on the run, Neket must rely on unlikely allies to remain free and perhaps find a way to help more of her people escape the oppression of the Selenian Idea.
Darael is a confident half elf theomachist cleric who actively opposes the vengeful gods that fight each other for the ultimate control of the world, while mortals perish underneath. He carries an assortment of holy symbols and specializes in impersonating regular clerics in order to uncover faithful cults and theist conspiracies.
About the Theomachy setting:
In Theomachy, vengeful gods fight each other for ultimate control of the universe, while the mortals of Naam struggle for power on a dying world. Divine magic is a force without expressed will that the warring gods hoard and wield against each other, threatening to undo the entire world. Clerics and paladins are either devout followers of the warring gods or theomachists who fight against the gods, liberating divine magic and using it against them.

An adventurous wizard wielding her Staff of Promised Power to stop the dreaded Vessel of Entropy from falling into the wrong hands! Both the staff and the vessel are items from Orelyn’s Opus of Outstanding Objects!
Character: Ameng Xilo Nagarath, Sun Elf Wizard, wielding a Staff of Promised Power
Ameng was born almost three centuries ago on Evermeet, the remote island of the elves. She grew up as a scion of the noble house Corrua'iat. Her family is known for their political influence, but also for their hatred towards non-elves, especially humans and dark elves.
Still, Ameng was fascinated by tales from the distant mainland that an elven bard and adventuress spun. Ameng’s family did not approve of the commoner bard and her stories. They tried to forbid Ameng from seeing the bard, but Ameng kept meeting her friend in secret.
However, human servants of a dark Bane killed her good friend during one of the mainland trips. Ameng’s family hoped that this event would put an end to her dreams and make her see the humans as the danger they believed them to be. But grief only strengthened Ameng’s resolve.
She decided to continue her late friend’s work and oppose the servants of evil gods who sought to control the innocent. After completing her training at the Magic Academy of Leuthilspar, she set out for the human lands to fight evil directly.
To her surprise, her first opponent was not a human, but a dark elf named Faeanshalee, who served in a lich's criminal organization. However, fate later made Ameng and Faeanshalee allies and eventually good friends. Together with other adventurers, they were able to put a stop to many villains. Among them mighty orcs, trolls, a dragon, a telepathically gifted giant octopus, undead pirates, demons, and finally even the avatar of a dark, world-eating god.
Ameng eventually gave up her family name after members of her family became involved in a dark plot to kill the queen of the elves and incite a war against the humans. Instead, she joined the good-natured dark elven noble house of Nagarath.

Just want to share a work I did for a client. This time I were to make an art of my client's Dragonborn Paladin. The concept is that the character is actually kind-hearted even though he looks scary. And in this illustration, he just save a Tiefling kid from being kidnapped by slave merchants.

Character: Thorne Roseland, Dis Tiefling Blood Hunter, Humanoid Form
Thorne is the Tiefling son of Adrian Roseland, lord of the Roseland vampire court, and a beautiful young woman from within the Roseland court's territory who was unexpectedly turned into a lycan just before Thorne's conception.
Where the Roseland court saw Thorne's existence as an abomination, Adrian saw the potential power of his son's blood and choose to not only keep him alive, but raise him as a weapon, using Thorne's mother as a hostage to keep him in line. Adrian was a master of manipulation and had a little-known fondness for puppeteering his machinations from the shadows. Seeking the throne of Strahd, he felt his son's power would be best in orchestrating his downfall, as Adrian was not powerful enough to do some by himself. First, Adrian sent his son on a wild goose chase. While he was away, he took Thorne's mother to the edge of his territory and gave her amnesia, planting in the identity that she was a werewolf who belonged to a pack in Barovia and belonged there; telling her to seek out the Vistrani to get there.
When Thorne returned, he was told of the news that his mother had fled the castle, and after "he convinced his father" to give him leave to track her down before he sent assassins after her, to protect court secrets, Adrian knew his son a skilled enough tracker to find his way to Barovia and that once he was there, there'd be no escaping for him until his true mission was complete.

Last time, Darael teased Neket by invoking duplicity, so now Neket is raising the stakes with three illusory duplicates! They are both mischievously playful and love finding new ways to tease each other. But, who’s the real Neket?
Charactes: Neket, Elf Illusionist Wizard, and Darael Smithy, Half Elf Trickery Cleric
Neket is a gifted young wizard from Timinhur, an elven city with strong ties to the moon. She has studied all schools of magic but has a certain inclination towards illusion magic that twists the perception of reality and dazzles the senses.
After remaining trapped in a cryophagus for sixteen years, Neket had to flee Timinhur to escape the Selenian Idea, an ambitious coup that turned her nation into a sterile and oppressive regime, and transformed most of its people into spellforged constructs, able to survive on the barren moon of Naam.
Now on the run, Neket must rely on unlikely allies to remain free and perhaps find a way to help more of her people escape the oppression of the Selenian Idea.
Darael is a confident half elf theomachist cleric who actively opposes the vengeful gods that fight each other for the ultimate control of the world, while mortals perish underneath. About the Theomachy setting:

Character: Dulcedina, Half-Angel Divine Sorceress
Dulcedina is a half-angel sorceress who wields the power of the heavens. She used to be the lady-in-waiting of Lady Prosperia di Gianluca, a powerful noblewoman of Vernoa, one of the wealthiest city-states in the entire Naam. When the empire of Moredus invaded Vernoa, Lady Prosperia was taken prisoner and Dulcedina had to rely on her celestial magic to escape. The Emperor of Moredus seeks to legitimize his position by having as many nobles of celestial heritage in his court as possible, so Dulcedina is on the run and has to rely on the few trusted friends she’s made after her escape from Vernoa.

I drew the party as silhouettes on the left, and a deva on the right; and I play in FoundryVTT, so I let them use their silhouettes as tokens to move back and forth 😄

A destructive wizard meeting a Spelleater Spellbook from Orelyn’s Opus of Outstanding Objects!
Character: Xira Brookhaven, Human Order of Scribes Wizard, Boros Legion Embermage, Wojek Special Operative, and Sunhome Guard; with a Spelleater Spellbook
Xira Brookhaven is the daughter of simple fish merchants in the plane-wide city of Ravnica. Like her older sister, Xara, she joined the Boros Legion at a young age. Boros Legionnaires are said to have a singular passion for justice. Xira has a singular passion for evocation magic, but she's more than happy to use said magic in the service of justice. More than one of her superiors have referred to her as "Exploder Mage," "danger to us all," or "who let that Rakdos nutter into the Legion anyway?" Her penchant for destructiveness is something of an embarrassment to Xara, a highly ranked member of the Sunhome Guard. However, it's also highly effective, and the reality is that Xira does her best to limit collateral damage.
In a last attempt to get her to shape up or at least wash their hands of her, Xira was paired with Cruxor Wingrot, an unorthodox and somewhat unstable minotaur warrior prone to fits of seemingly uncontrollable rage. However, to everyone's disbelief, the duo's "unique" tactics have proven to get dangerous and sensitive tasks done with great efficiency. Whether by accident or skill, Cruxor and Xira have managed to uncover a major plot to undermine and conquer the plane by dangerous extraplanar entities known as "Planeswalkers." Their surprising ability to make allies with influential members of several Ravnica guilds has captured the attention of the leadership of the city, as well as shadowy conclaves who act to oppose the invasion and root out the infiltration of the Planeswalkers. A recent incident has led city officials to place them under the supervision of an Azorius lawmage, Modar. So far, despite constant hazing from Xira and Cruxor, Modar has proven himself a capable member of the team.
Where they go from here, or if they'll succeed, is a question nobody is quite prepared to answer—but whatever the outcome, it's sure to be violently explosive, and that's just the way Xira likes it.
About Spelleater Spellbook
Ancient and powerful, the origins of the bizarre spellbook are shrouded in mystery. The Spelleater Spellbook is a semi-sentient magic book that seeks to devour spell scrolls and other spellbooks, adding them to its pages. It empowers wizards to cast spells more efficiently. However, if fed too many spells too quickly, it may choose to split into two Spelleater Spellbooks!

Neket is practicing a spell essential for every adventurous mage: feather fall! She’s happy and care-free after a difficult mission, but is there anyone waiting for her when she lands? We’ll soon find out!
Character: Neket, Elf Illusionist Wizard
Neket is a gifted young wizard from Timinhur, an elven city with strong ties to the moon. She has studied all schools of magic but has a certain inclination towards illusion magic that twists the perception of reality and dazzles the senses.
After remaining trapped in a cryophagus for sixteen years, Neket had to flee Timinhur to escape the Selenian Idea, an ambitious coup that turned her nation into a sterile and oppressive regime, and transformed most of its people into spellforged constructs, able to survive on the barren moon of Naam.
Now on the run, Neket must rely on unlikely allies to remain free and perhaps find a way to help more of her people escape the oppression of the Selenian Idea.
About the Theomachy setting:
In Theomachy, vengeful gods fight each other for ultimate control of the universe, while the mortals of Naam struggle for power on a dying world. Divine magic is a force without expressed will that the warring gods hoard and wield against each other, threatening to undo the entire world. Clerics and paladins are either devout followers of the warring gods or theomachists who fight against the gods, liberating divine magic and using it against them.
