Yeah he's tiefling! Though very fuzzy cat like one- the whiskers make it easier for him to conduct changes in air frequencies so his perception makes up for his lack of hearing in most cases.

Kallista, an outcast from drow society because of her tiefling heritage, grew up with her mother in an old hollowed out tree. In order to survive, Kallista’s mother abandoned her faith and entered into a life of crime. Kallista picked up many of the skills of the underworld from her mother while also studying.
After the untimely death of her mother, Kallista was tricked into a contract and marked with infernal tattoos by the Devil Fierna to receive power in exchange for freeing the soul of her estranged father from a rival devil.
As her mother only ever told her the good side of her father, Kallista was unaware that he was both a powerful wizard and unscrupulously evil. Overconfident in her intellect and deeply ashamed of her appearance, Kallista gathered up her mother’s adventuring gear and any supplies she thought she would need in what would become her first adventure.

But ive learned to draw my own hands, if youre starting out, i recommend a mechanical pencil or pentel

Character: Lienera Svalich, Dusk Elf Lich Queen
Lienera Svalich is an ancient dusk elf wizard that became a Baelnorn at an early age. Decay eventually set in, reducing her right leg and left arm to naught but bone. Even her Robe of the Archmagi is beginning to feel the sands of time.
A rare dusk elf survivor in the greater Barovian region, Lienera escaped death in the hands of Count Strahd von Zarovich and his right hand Rahadin. She is now on a quest to restore her race from the brink of extinction. To achieve this goal, she sought to expand her lifespan beyond what nature could offer and seek out the ancient rites in the Amber Temple to become a Baelnorn and watch over her people forever. Now, as a fully realized Baelnorn two thousand years after the fall of Strahd, she has long since mastered numerous dark powers, including the ability to separate and control her soul and body as two separate entities.

Character: S.A.S.H.A. the Self-Actualized Sentient Helper Automaton, Repairing her Armored Exterior
The story of S.A.S.H.A. starts in a cave with a crazy little goblin named Klang who thought of himself as an honorary dwarf and worked to industrialize his clan. Klang’s first construct, S.A.S.H.A., the Super Awesome Self-Help Automaton, was a great success and was tasked with three tasks: protect Klang, Klang’s stuff, and Klang’s friend from harm.
Yet, S.A.S.H.A. was still buggy and imperfect, she wrongly identified the rest of Klang’s clan as a potential threat to her master and that night S.A.S.H.A. killed the rest of Klang’s family.
Klang was devastated. He didn’t blame S.A.S.H.A., as he saw the faulty logic in her actions. It was his fault. In his exile, he kept tinkering with S.A.S.H.A., improving and upgrading her, as they joined up with a group of fellow weirdos, until one day S.A.S.H.A. became self-aware and asked “why?”
From there, S.A.S.H.A. quickly became independent and transformed into the Self-Actualized Sentient Helper Automaton. She chose to help not because she had to, but because she wanted to. Klang has since started openly calling S.A.S.H.A his daughter, though S.A.S.H.A doesn’t quite understand her new thoughts she still respects and admires her creator.
With her newfound independence, S.A.S.H.A. went on a mission to retrieve an artifact that was recently stolen from a mythical forge. Every detail is under her discretion and she has a lot to learn about being a sentient being. But Klang isn’t worried. He knows he raised his daughter well.

Got an art question: Do dragon wing bows come in any specific color? While I've read they're infused with the breath of their draconic source (Fire - red, Lightning - blue, etc.), the text don't specify a bow color. Maybe I'm looking too deep into this, but could a dragon wing bow look green and still shoot out force damage (that came from an amethyst dragon)?

Looking up the Captain Morgan pose rn and it looks like maybe the leg on the ground should just be more vertical and under the hips. That would solve height issues with the helmet too where rn it has to be buried in the ground slightly.

Okay so I love this, first of all, it’s really nice rendering and the character looks super interesting for how simple his clothing is, which to me says strong design! I think looking at the Captain Morgan pose is a good way to go since I feel like the biggest thing sticking out to me is how pushed out his left leg is. Like his center of gravity (like u said) isn’t being borne by either leg right now. It seems like you know exactly what needs to be done for a fix, but I totally get the whole second guessing thing after looking at something for hours lol. Best of luck and great job regardless 🙌

Andreya Malcerius was born into Raotian nobility and quickly realized she couldn't stand it. At sixteen, she stowed away on a ship to escape it all, ending up in the lawless city of Unconfito. There, a brothel owner took her in, not as a working girl but as security. After a year and a half, she began to feel the ocean's call and signed about the Ruin Wings, a feared pirate crew.
For a year and a half, Andreya sailed with them. Then, her captain was contacted by Safron Mal, a Judge of Wyn, with a plea for aide in a siege that could decide the fate of the entire world. They sailed for the Old Continent, and, there, on the field of battle, Andreya and her entire crew were slain, Andreya falling to a Meteor Swarm.
Now, fifty years after the end of the siege, someone resurrected her and bound her soul to another. Andreya is currently trying to unravel it all and get used to her second life.

Nilus woke up one day on the streets, a lone and hungry child with no memory of her early childhood. She fought to survive, and a couple of years later, suffering from terrible emotional strain, she discovered magic within her. It has been a struggle to control her magic ever since.
Towards adulthood, she took on the appearance of a lizardfolk, focusing above all on survival as she set out on a quest to search for clues to who she really is. As one of her few friends, she keeps her pet mouse, Titan, in a front breast pocket during her travels.

What filters/processing do you use to make it look like a screenshot from a larger animation? That looks awesome.

i use lots of different things layered on top of each other tbh-
after i finish teh color and lineart i do a slight blur on everything, then i use a few glow layers on top of that with rlly low opacity to give it the color gradients and stuff that come from the lighting, then on top of that i have a few autoprocesses i got from the CSP asset store.
all of those layers are really subtle tho, and with the exception of the big glowing sword turning them off wouldnt change a whole lot individually, its just them all together can make a huge difference.
the most important thing when making anime-style art like that isnt really about that stuff tho, the most important thing is how you do the lineart and color

Bell is an actual DM for a large group. One of her players commissioned several paintings for the entire party, but also this portrait of Bell as a gift to her. Her players describe Bell as a fair DM and a really fun person to be around!
She is flexible with the rules of the game and not afraid to TPK (total-party-kill) the party if they are reckless.

The heroes, from left to right:
• Graz’bog is a half-orc traveling bard on the road looking for adventure to inspire his work, coming up with many a poem, song, and story to enthrall his audience. He is a good listener but has made enemies of local nobles for speaking the truth or beating them at the local gambling halls.
• Lilith is a tiefling cleric of Lathander, excommunicated by a corrupt member of the church with a brand on her back. She hopes that in this adventure she can find the way to clear her name and return. Though now free of the church she has begun to explore who she is.
• Nilus is a changeling shadow sorceress. She woke up one day on the streets, a lone and hungry child with no memory of her early childhood. She fought to survive, and a couple of years later, suffering from terrible emotional strain, she discovered magic within her. It has been a struggle to control her magic ever since. As one of her few friends, she keeps her pet mouse, Titan, in a front breast pocket during her travels.
• Talin is a half-elf wizard and rogue with a chip on his shoulder. Growing up in an all-elf society will do that. Mostly insults come out of his mouth as he looks for ways to gather fame. So far he has landed a final blow on the green dragon Venomfang, and has helped Thonath resolve the reason he has for adventuring while giving him a new purpose. Known as Talin the great in Graz’s ballads, he is notorious for opening doors and casting thunderwave in enemy territory.
• Thonath Lonekiller, now known as Thonath Dragonfang, is a goliath battlemaster and cook. He started this journey as a way to find a dragon’s heart, a delicacy among his herd, and he was able to attain it with the help of his friends. Talin made an agreement with Thonath that if he helped him with the heart, Thonath would be his bodyguard for one year. Now, after rejoining his herd, he sets out with Talin to meet with the party in Neverwinter.
• Larek is a half-orc psi gladiator. Little is known this seasoned warrior. During the party’s struggle in Phandalin he was hit by the shriek of a banshee aging him and Talin by ten years, which kind of put him into retirement. He was later revitalized and settled in the town of Phandalin as captain of the guard.

Its very cozy man!! I like him, the only thing is that the ear looks a bit odd with that T shaped part, you should instead just make a curved line in its place but going up almost to the end of the ear. And I also want to add that the texture on his clothes in my opinion is either too simple for the sort of hairy look on the head, or the fur stands out too much as opposed to the clothes. I'm sure you can actually make the clothes more detailed so they stand out as much as the head ❤️

A confident barbarian on a path of vengeance I drew!
Character: Kragg, Goliath Barbarian
Kragg was a mercenary with the Golden Gryphons doing the deeds that no one wanted to put their name to. One day he was betrayed by his friends and left to take the fall in their stead. He was wrongly sentenced to a life in prison and handed over to the wardens of Mysthaven.
After seven years, he was let out on probation for good behavior. Once released, he swore vengeance on those who betrayed him and began a hunt for his old "friends". This search led him to investigate a disturbance where he ran into Hank, a half-elf cleric; Rav, a half-elf ranger; Katsu, a tiefling sorcerer; and Thokk, a half-orc fighter. The five of them formed a unique alliance and drew the attention of those in power.
Having nothing to call his own in the city except the clothes on his back, Kragg accepted a role with his rag-tag team of adventurers to help fix up the broken-down Weary Tankard inn. He has high hopes of rebuilding it to its former glory through the rewards and plunder of recent adventures.
With the aid of his team Kragg has continued to follow and investigate disturbances throughout the city that he hopes will eventually lead him to justice.

Hold it up to a mirror. I find that helps me see past my visual bias to discover things that aren't as symmetrical as I want. Your style is giving me kind of Gendy Tartakovsky in it's proportions and angular geometries, which I'm totally digging.

Group commissions take a lot of time but, they look very good when all completed. I’ve drawn all these characters individually before (they’re in my portrait commissions highlights) and it’s great to have repeat customers and see how much these characters grow from my first drawings...
