A unique thri-kreen monk I drew!
Character: Taka'tel, Thri-kreen Astral Monk
Taka'tel was a nomad who encountered an unfortunate event that transformed his life. While traveling, he was dragged into the astral sea. There, he encountered a green dragon that had been chosen to be a piece of the hoard of a powerful astral creature who ended up taking both Taka’tel and the dragon into its collection.
After living together in captivity for a while, Taka’tel and the green dragon came to an agreement to aid each other in escaping. Their plan was successful, and they were shunted back to the material plane. However, the journey across the planes had bonded them forever and the time spent in the Astral Sea had changed Taka’tel. He was now able to manifest an astral form in the shape of the green dragon bonded to him.
With his newfound freedom and powers, what will Taka'tel do now?

Character: Moira Volpe Auditore Madrigal, Kitsune Paladin and Bladesinger, Sentinel of Alitheia
Moira grew up struggling with the concept of having important parents, using her mother’s maiden name to make sure she was judged for her actions and not because of her parents. She grew up in the small town of Lakehem where her parents have an estate. Always her father’s daughter, Moira spent plenty of time training and sparring, learning to protect herself and others. That never stopped her from sneaking into her mother’s library to read about magic, wonder, and even other worlds. When she was old enough, her parents asked her about joining the church of Alitheia, goddess of Justice and Truth, to become a paladin. Becoming a paladin was always a dream knowing she could follow in her father’s footsteps, to help others in the world. So, when she packed her bags to head to Ebonhold, she slipped into the library and snagged a few of her favorite books. Stories and tales wonderful and terrifying all written by her grandfather.
The sanctuary for Fey and those who practice arcane, founded by her parents, and headed by her mother, was a large part of Moira’s life. As she inherited the Kitsune blood of her mother and all the traits that came with it. Hiding the truth of her heritage in a world that bought and sold Fey for body parts became too much for her, when she witnessed firsthand the loss of a friend, Osgu. On the day of her knighthood ceremony, she revealed to the world just who she really was. With a vow to take up her father’s cause and put an end to the organization known for hunting the Fey simply known as The Poachers. Though unlike her father, who believed everyone deserves a chance at redemption, Moira only set out to bring justice at any cost.
Her view of justice shifted slightly towards her father’s point of view when she was forced to bring judgment upon the amazing tiefling woman she loved. Only through divine intervention are they still together, a moment in time forever seared into her memory. While she still strives for justice, her emotional struggle to determine who deserves redemption and who should receive her final judgment keeps her awake late in the evenings.
While still devoted and faithful to Alitheia, Moira finds herself leaning more heavily on the magic her mother taught her about as a child. Leaving behind the heavy plate armor and shield for a magical tattoo and the art of Bladesinging, Moira continues her fight against the hatred, persecution, and murder of the Fey and all those who suffer at the hands of others.

The biggest challenge I see is determining regular placements for the letters
For example: L and K are nearly identical, but are on opposite sides of the line

Okay, now you have to explain: how did he get a chicken

We're playing Curse of Strahd but wrong since we started at level 3 and started in a place we weren't supposed to but basically we walked into a town after my character was recently educated on what Chickens are (Obviously he's from the Underdark so he doesn't actually know what a lot of animals are and has slowly been taught them) but our Bard mentioned that there might be some in this town so while they went off and did something relating to religion (which my character hates) he went and searched for a chicken based on a quick description he was given- rolled good enough survival and found one so he brought it back to the party to confirm that it was, in fact, a chicken.

Owner of the chicken finds me, she's an old woman and she's politely asking for her chicken back- whether because she's nice or because I'm a massive spider monstrosity I am unsure of but it doesn't matter. As I mentioned I don't want to give the chicken up because my character is not done learning about chickens yet, DM makes me roll persuasion. Charisma is my dump stat so I didn't expect it to turn out well. Rolled, nat20. I trade the woman a Greataxe I looted from a fellow Barbarian I killed and consumed in exchange for her chicken.

I was then informed that the chicken's name is Siegfreida and we left. Now Siegfreida has laid an egg and we await Lady Siegfreida's child to hatch

The daughter of my Drider Barbarian who is following him out of the Underdark-
Maerune the Drow Artificer!

She accidentally melted her face off with acid and replaced it with metal plates that can move so she can look like shes talking and still show emotion.

When in doubt replace flesh with metal, its more reliable anyway

She's very tired of the spider motif of the Underdark so she joins her father in Barovia to find more people to experiment on and improve their bodies with metal

How does she feel about her father being a drider?

Much like her dad, she's completely abandoned the idea of worshipping Lolth as a Goddess. Due to her father being a Drider, she was treated very poorly, but rather than hating him for that she decided that the Drow's view of Driders, Men, and other Races is wrong- though mostly out of spite for how she'd been treated. She now works with her Great-Great Aunt (The one who nearly killed her Father in his Test of Strength and the reason why he's a Drider) to track him down. For her, its so she can find him and for the Aunt, its so she can kill off her Mother (My Character's Grandmother and soon to be former Ancestral Guardian - Also a Drow Inquisitor) who's been revived

Because my Barbarian hates his Ancestral Guardian and she hates him but The Dark powers thought it would be funny to stick them together

Only to bring her back to life to make them fight to the death

So Maerune is pretty fine with her dad being a Drider since she doesn't agree with Drow society

Very hyped for his Ancestral Guardian getting revived though because she's going to be replaced with his brother, who is the person he killed for his Test of Loyalty

I would say practice by taking a base and erase parts of it. Try to recreate those parts as closely as possible. Soon enough you'll have memorized the basic humanoid anatomy. From there it's just practice

Using art from people you like is a good sub for bases. Once your confident, try doing some basic sketches with very little reference on basic anatomy. Hands where the hardest using this method IMO

Got some new art for my Chronurgist Wizard, Tol'ruevren Seluvia (and his very spacey owl familiar Sir Xanaleth, named in honor of his late mentor) who I'm playing in a Rime of the Frostmaiden game! He is an ancient Netherse Empire wizard's apprentice that was caught up in a ritual gone awry that trapped his consciousness in the Sequestering Stone he wears around his neck and buried in some ruins for thousands of years before being found and restored to his corporeal form by a local Red Wizard in the Ten Towns. Tol accompanies his party using his long-lost Dunamancy magic to bend the threads of fate in search of answers to questions about what went wrong with the ritual, what secrets the ancient ruins might hold, what he can possibly do to get back to his time, and how to solve the current time-freeze that Auril has gripped over the lands up north in eternal night.

Trix is a bounty hunter, and the fact people only know her by name and her striking white hair is testament to her skills at her craft. The mark is made, the fee is paid, and the work is done, no fuss, no complications. A lone wolf in every sense of the word, Trix will use every skill available to track her prey and make sure they come dead or alive.
Here, Trix is enjoying some very much needed downtime in a remote beach under the moonlight!

I little more progress in designing this Drow Artificer

Soon enough people will start mistaking her for a Warforged

Metal face, metal arm, metal feet- its just gonna keep going

Since she's just an important NPC I dont actually get to control her but she does get Class Levels

but my DM as told me how she's going to appear to the party and I'm excited

She has very Adeptus Mechanicus vibes and is the most friendly Neutral Evil character you'll meet

Her Dad is Lawful Evil so it seems to run in the family- on top of being Drow actually from the Underdark

The party is flying away from a battle over the demon wastes of Khorvaire between a dracolich and a rakshasha.
This dracolich is known as the Keeper of Night, and had an artifact tuned to the plane of Mabar.
Having made a deal with a rakshasha they freed from the lair of a powerful dracolich known as the Keeper of Night to help find the soul of Clovis’ wife, the party is using the duel between the rakshasha and dracolich as an opportunity to fly away on their airship!
