Character: Hildiguard Von Thunderstone, Hill Dwarf Druid
Hildiguard left her life as the princess of her hill dwarf clan to become a druid. Early in her adventuring days, a wild magic trap turned her skin sky blue, giving her an otherworldly appearance. She liked the color of the sky on her skin and chose to stay that way.
Now she’s an experienced druid who wields magic of life, as well as of fiery rebirth. Flaming sphere is one of her favorite spells, and she usually has an earth elemental around for protection.

Alina Bittergreen is a half-elf sorceress with a boisterous personality and very short attention span. She has green eyes and naturally bright green hair.
Laurelei Civol Basorium, or Laurie to most people close to her, is a young rogue who favors cunning tactics over heads-on combat. She provides hit-and-run support, and lures enemies in and out. When she does fight, her style is flashy yet efficient.
Here, Alina is ready to order drinks and trying to convince Laurie they need to find her a guy at the bar. Laurie is trying to distract them away from this topic of conversation!

Part owl, part acorn, owlnuts are flying members of the florofauna family known for their mobility and toughness, but also their distinctive cuteness. Owlnuts grow on magical owltrees and look like mundane acorns to the untrained eye until they hatch.
An owlnut is perceptive, adorable, and a tough nut to crack. Its cap allows it to shrug off a direct hit, which contributes to its already remarkable longevity. Owlnuts do not die of old age. When an owlnut grows old and venerable, it might seek to plant itself in the ground. Two NPCs from my Moana inspired campaign prep

My DnD character Breerhana Ablefang. A Tiefling Druid with a mission to find her sister Victorah who was taken away from her when a pack of orcs slayed their parents and took their family fortune. She has been taught from a young age to respect nature and not to kill unless it is absolutely necessary. So her top is fashioned out of impenetrable dragon scales that dragons have shed, her braces and skirt are made out of the hide of fallen dragons and the spikes out of dragon teeth from dragon skulls.

The ring on her tail was her father's wedding ring and the buckle on her belt was a protection charm once owned by her mother.

She may look scary and intimidating but she is a big softie on the inside. She just rarely shows it. She is also very efficient in hand to hand combat.

A free-spirited dark elf cleric I painted! She’s wielding the Spidesilk Whip, a D&D item I’ve made!
Character: Minathra Alendar, Dark Elf Light Cleric
Minathra Alendar is a dark elf who grew up in the cities of the Underdark and learned the ways of Lolth. On the night of her first surface raid, she was enchanted by the beauty of the moonlight. She decided that she needs to stay on the surface where this beautiful light shines, instead of going back to the Underdark.
She managed to sneak away from the raid party and has been living in seclusion since. After praying to the moon for many nights, she heard the goddess Eilistraee answering her prayers. Ever since, she has been a follower of Eilistraee, trying to spread the beauty of the world, but especially the beauty of the moon to the people of the surface. Even if they didn't want to welcome her, she never took it personally since she knew what dark elves are capable of.
Minathra chooses to wear her spider-themed clothing as a reminder of what she escaped so that she may never return to that path of destruction and evil.

Nirayne and her mermaid friend having some fun where land, sea, and sky meet!
Nirayne is one of the main NPCs (and a romance option) in my fifth edition adventure: The Sunken Tower!
Characters: Nirayne “Rain” Waveborn, Half-Sea Elf Storm Sorceress; and a Cute Mermaid Friend
Nirayne is a half-sea elf storm sorceress, her magic coming directly from the sea and the sky. The proud seafaring dwarves of clan Waveborn found and raised Nirayne as their own after finding her adrift in her crib at sea.
Nirayne grew up in Wavetown, one of the floating cities of the sea dwarves, living under one of the city’s lighthouses. Her powerful storm magic and her desire for adventure urged her to take her small boat and explore all sorts of remote and exotic islands as Wavetown traveled the oceans.
When she was old enough, Nirayne boarded the legendary enchanted ship, Darkstorm, joining the rowdy crew of the infamous dark elf pirate Captain Kenthor “Rubyeye” Webcrest. Captain Kenthor quickly put Nirayne’s storm magic into use, unlocking the Darkstorm’s true potential as one of the fastest ships in the seas of Naam.
Nirayne’s magic animates the tattoos on her body. The starfish on her ankle always points north, and the wave patterns on her arm and her thigh change to reflect the surrounding weather.
Nirayne is one of my own characters in Theomachy!
About the Theomachy setting:
In Theomachy, vengeful gods fight each other for ultimate control of the universe, while the mortals of Naam struggle for power on a dying world. Divine magic is a force without expressed will that the warring gods hoard and wield against each other, threatening to undo the entire world. Clerics and paladins are either devout followers of the warring gods or theomachists who fight against the gods, liberating divine magic and using it against them.

I'd say the only anime ish related thing to my art are the eyes and the way I shade kind of 🤔 for the eyes at least you really just want to study a bunch of different anime for thay to see what kind of eyes interest you the best because genuinely to get that "anime" look a lot of it comes from the eyes

Foldout printed environments like bushes with card stands can work quite well, you should be able to find some for free online, I know there’s a few sites that do monsters for free so base environment should also be available

Azril, son of Hurn, son of Malakai, descendant of Clan Emberheart and champion of The Everburning, was born into his faith but accepted it with the typical dwarven stance on familial duty. Upon completion of his studies, he left the dwarven holds seeking to protect the races of mankind against otherworldly threats, such as aberrant monstrosities and fiends. Along the way, he was gifted his shield, Grove Warden, by a dryad in order to fight against a new type of otherworldly threat originating from beyond the veil. This threat known as the Lover Between. With his companions in tow, he embarked on an epic journey to protect the unsuspecting citizens of the land from this threat and many others.
