Creature Spotlight: Dire Goose
Likes: open spaces, honking loudly, berries
Dislikes: being indoors for too long, being sprayed with water, bitter foods and bitter scents
Towering over regular geese, dire geese are migratory birds of impressive size and surprisingly strong memories. These enormous birds usually lead peaceful lives in the wild but can be fiercely aggressive against anyone who threatens them or those they consider family.
Dire geese usually fly together in a V formation in groups known as wedges and use their mighty honks to communicate with each other and instill fear in the hearts of their enemies. Powerful and defiant, dire geese can be challenging to train, but once tamed, they become fiercely protective and develop parental tendencies towards their riders.
When threatened, a dire goose will flap its wings aggressively and let out deafening honks to drive enemies away. If this fails, the fearless bird will fight with surprising aggression and ferocity.
Greater Steed. At the gamemaster’s discretion, a player character who can obtain a greater steed through magic may choose the form of a dire goose for their greater steed.
Awakened Dire Geese. Dire geese are eligible targets for the awaken spell. Awakened dire geese might become minstrels and sing loud and energetic ballads and use intimidating wing flapping and dire honks in their performances. The inspo behind him is a mix between yuta okkotsu and zoro from one piece

Pirate on the run with a messed up past

And Ik warlocks need to be a certain level to see and communicate with spirits, but since they get their power from “the fiend” I figured that my characters fiend would be someone that they knew, kind of like yuta and his cursed spirit rika

Fia is a talented bard with a no-nonsense attitude who uses her exotic magic and looks to her advantage. Using her magic heats her up, turning her hair fiery red. She has to dip it in the water to cool off, turning it black.

As we prepare for our DnD characters for our Curse of Strahd party to go to Dementlieu, we're aware that my Drider Barbarian is being turned back into a Drow again though the Dark Powers for the ball/masquerade so I begin to doodle up ideas for possible outfit shapes for him since he will of course be stuck in a dress because who doesn't love buff men in dresses
Dementlieu is not ready for Arasinid's thick thighs to come back after 30 years of not having them

learning to walk again will be an interesting experience

Well their older lore described them as being as what I interpreted as basically being like Sparta- where the children are basically trained for military from birth- and so it’s actually a huge part of his character because a lot of his backstory is based on the fact he was raised in that society.

About the axe, viking battle axes usually had really long handles so that they could get a lot of reach so that axe's length isn't an issue. The blade looks a bit large but as long as it's thin and it's made of a metal like adamantine that's really light that should be fine. Basically, the axe doesn't need to be any smaller to be usable

Sketch concept of my thri-keen

Expansion on the ranking concept shown in the reply. Character is a leader of his own large Merc Company all of whom would have a pauldron like his. The Crest is engraved on the top pauldron and the rank of the individual engraved on the lower pauldron. There would be other cores represented with different weapons. Spears are Infinitry. A sword core would be Squirmishers, an arrow is Archers and a staff is Wizards. Would function much like a small Military. This is all backstory flavor though. (Ignore the spilled water on 1.4...)

From time to time, a pack of feywolves or a single feywolf will jump off Otherwood and into another world, sometimes called to aid an ally of Nature, or just on a whim to try something new. A lone feywolf will usually seek out new friends and try to make itself as helpful as possible.
In combat, feywolves use their exceptional mobility and innate unpredictability to wear out and confound enemies.
