Does anyone wanna throw any recs at me for character designers (particularly those able to draw feline faces) who currently have their commissions open? I have a character concept I'm trying to pin down but I'm really struggling with the fashion sense and the colour composition (it's all a bit of a mess), so I think it's time I brought someone with other ideas to the table

Two friends and classmates I drew!
Characters: Neswin, Gnome Artificer and Wizard; and Kane, Minotaur Bard and Barbarian
Neswin is a gnome artificer and student of magic. Her family is well-known at the school thanks to the contributions of her grandmother. Her father thinks she is going to school to take over the family business, but Neswin is ready to go on her own journey.
During her time at the campus, Neswin discovered she has a knack for solving mysteries alongside her friends and particularly her popular and temperamental artist classmate, the Minotaur artist known as Kane. She also watching her friends play silkball and going to the tavern to celebrate the end of exams.
As time goes by, Neswin realized that there is a lot that goes on that the teachers and other staff aren’t always noticing. She is always willing to help but generally finds herself in the middle of adventures. She isn’t sure what she wants to do with her life, yet but is willing to experiment.

Cain and Decurabia Goetia Global Icons of the monster world. Cain a marvelous actor staring in drama and action movies(monster Tom Cruise) he's an expert at sword fighting and has a collection of magical and wondrous Swords.

Decurabia a monumental opera singer she was one of the few who brought an old genre of music back into the spotlight being opera.She is very good gardener and is a bit of spiritualist with her believing in stone that have mood boosting properties (just saying she not an antivaxer)

And both of these famous demons got together while playing as characters in a movie and they hit it off a few years later they got married and had a gay bird son(aka Don)

Nel and Red enjoying their newfound freedom on a crumbling wall in the god-blasted ruins of Whitebay.
Characters: Nel, Half-Angel Shadow Sorceress and Painter; and Red, Half-Demon Blade Warlock and Pan Lutist
Nel is a gentle and submissive half-angel who secretly harbors a lot of resentment and hate for oppressors. Regarded as a divine monstrosity from birth, she spent most of her life in a lightless prison alongside dangerous monsters under the watchful eyes of ruthless theomachist inquisitors who oppose the gods.
Her only friends were Red, a rebellious half-demon boy who shared the same fate as her, and an elderly priest who saw past the prejudices of most inquisitors and showed kindness to Nel and Red.
When inquisitors failed to use Nel’s blood in a ritual that called for the blood of an angel, an enraged orc paladin lady saw the evil in their actions and demanded Nel and Red’s release, shouldering the burden of responsibility for her in case she betrayed mortalkind.
Now, Nel is a fugitive, persecuted both by vengeful gods and zealotous theomachist priests, so she hides he true angelic identity with magic, even assuming a different gender from time to time to throw off her pursuers.
Nelchior, the warring god of the night and dark secrets, claims dominion over dark angels and is particularly interested in subverting Nel’s power for his schemes. Between Nelchior’s plans and the monster hunters on her tail, she has precious few friends she can rely upon.
Red is a rebellious young man who cheerfully rejected his demonic heritage, choosing freedom instead. Regarded as an infernal monstrosity from birth, he grew up in a lightless prison where ruthless theomachist inquisitors performed dark rituals and questionable experiments on dangerous monsters and deranged heretics.
His only friends were Nel, a gentle and submissive half-angel who shared a fate similar to his, and an elderly antipriest who saw past the prejudices of most inquisitors and showed kindness to Red and Nel. For years, Red and Nel communicated without seeing each other, Nel drawing pictures for him and Red playing his pan lute for her behind barred metal doors.
After a dark ritual went too far, an enraged orc paladin lady and proven hero saw the evil in the inquisitors’ actions and demanded Red and Nel’s release, assuming full responsibility in case they betrayed mortalkind.
Red and Nel exited the depths of the Grey Cathedral together next to the paladin, free for the first time in years. Now they are fugitives, persecuted both by vengeful gods and zealotous theomachist clerics.
Nel is one of my characters in Theomachy!
About the Theomachy setting:
In Theomachy, vengeful gods fight each other for ultimate control of the universe, while the mortals of Naam struggle for power on a dying world. Divine magic is a force without expressed will that the warring gods hoard and wield against each other, threatening to undo the entire world. Clerics and paladins are either devout followers of the warring gods or theomachists who fight against the gods, liberating divine magic and using it against them.

A winged kobold sorcerer I painted a while ago!
Most kobolds are wingless and rather weak (unless they are in big groups), but some among them are special. Those special kobolds have wings and a greater tendency to be heroes than the rest of their species. Winged kobolds are also known as urds. This particular urd also has an innate talent for fire magic, making him dangerously strong!

A fabulous shipwrecked dark elf fighter I drew, plus lots of lore!
Character: Alaiya Migard Freetrail, Dark Elf Eldritch Knight, Shipwrecked
Alaiya was born into power. Her mother, Veilla, was the leader of the Drow Tribe and so Alaiya grew up wanting for nothing. She learned the ways of combat from her aunts, and the ways of magic from the tribe’s elders, resulting in her becoming a strong-willed force to be reckoned with.
The tribe lived in a small mountain range where the nearest settlement was a small human village a couple of miles away. In her early teens Alaiya encountered a human boy around her age when she was exploring the area outside of her caves. Though they were wary of one another to begin with, he and Alaiya quickly became friends and would take any opportunity to meet up and share stories about their lives. Alaiya even began to teach him how to fight with swords and some basic magic.
Things changed however when Veilla discovered their friendship. Alaiya’s mother scolded her and threatened her that should she meet with the outsider again she would be disowned and banished for daring to make contact with a surface-dweller. Alaiya resented this punishment but dared not to defy her mother’s direct order and so abided by it. Everything crashed around Alaiya though when her mother discovered the boy, now a young man, sneaking through their caves in search for her daughter. Seeing it as an act of war from a potential assassin, Veilla had the young man killed. Alaiya, enraged by her mother’s actions, declared she had had enough of this way of living and would leave her tribe in order to live how she wished to do so.
Veilla tried to stop her daughter from leaving but Alaiya, still in a fit of anger, cut down anyone who tried to stop her until she was alone in the wilderness. Realising she had done something dreadful in banishing herself, she was tempted to turn back and beg for forgiveness but her iron-will steered her forward - not that she’d be welcomed back anyway.
When she reached the village her friend had lived in, she discovered the humans who resided there were afraid of her, after hearing decades of stories of how vicious the Drow could be. She resolved to trying to teach the more peaceful ways of her culture to the villagers and found great pleasure in doing so. Though she never fully got the village to conquer their fears, she left feeling she’d helped them understand her people a little better. As she trekked through the countryside, she stopped off at more villages, learning more about how other races lived and sharing the ways of life she had been used to.
Over the next couple of decades, Alaiya became somewhat of a diplomat for the Drow race. Her talents in negotiating and getting people to open up gained her a reputation. Her skill in swordplay and magic added to her reputation, she’d often get hired to help traders navigate from city to city against bandits on the roads and would often be requested to settle disagreements of various social classes.
Shortly after she joined a small adventuring party, finding a fellow cultured being in the bard, but resolving to teach the party’s monk about the various cultures she had discovered in her travels. When a portal opened to a demonic realm that plunged her world into darkness, she and her companions all agreed to set out and try and prevent this disaster from causing the end of all things.

I HATE sewing circles. But I bought a circle cutting thing with a special rotary blade. It definitely helped.
This pattern seemed daunting, but triangles are pretty easy. The worst was cutting it all out.

I think it's p cool, will the players go naturally or is it a bonus area? Bc as a bonus area a nice rumour about some thing here and there would make it extra-juicy, but if they will go there regardless and it's supposed to strike, a nice description of how colossal the castle is could be a nice oxymoron with the lord as 'shadows' of the past

This area will be like how volcano manor is. It'll be there, but you won't have to actually go there to progress .

If it's optional but you'd like for them to visit you could put a rumor to push them to explore, but if it's just to make the world feel more cohesive I think it's pretty neat!

This place will be like the sword and shield of that particular Kingdom, and since getting the passage to this area is pretty difficult, so i think players will get curious to explore this area

Regarding what boss or weapon i should place here, I still don't know, but i guess I'll work on it once i properly learn how to design a character

Good monsters in castles are always Haunted Armors

Some of them also gargoyles, for example, especially if the castle has managed to survive up until now

Or even the spirits of the original defenders of the castle, such as ghosts and knights

If it's a dark castle, a shadow is always a nice addition aswell. The idea of being attacked by a shadow that then dissapears off into the darkness of the castle to potentially lurk behind corners is a terrifying idea I'm planning on using in my next game.

You know, you could add a ghost warrior that is actually an embodiment of the will of a sword

The real enemy is the Sword itself, the ghost is just what it manifests to move

But the thing is, the castle is made by the only lords of that ever ruled that particular land, so there shouldn't be a sword like that. And I wanted the main boss to be someone who is a really powerful general. There can be certain sorceries used, and there can be spirits of old soldiers, but the castle still needs to be occupied by a millitary power, rather than supernatural.

Character: Tallulah, Medusa Inquisitor
Tallulah is a medusa who used to serve a dark lord. However, a party of adventurers inspired her to abandon her dark ways by sparing her life, and she vowed to serve good. Now, she serves as inquisitor, sworn to bring her old master to justice!
Tallulah wears her plague doctor’s mask to prevent accidental petrification but takes it off in battle against the forces of darkness. She rides a gorgon in battle and also has two cocatrice animal companions. After she makes an arrest, Tallulah turns the worst criminals to stone, so they don’t consume resources.

also seems a bit counter intuitive as the worst criminal goes from spending (lets say) 50 years in prison to what feels like 5 minutes
