When I play, especially soft, delicate sections, it feels like I'm fighting the piano because the touch is too heavy. Is there anyway I could fix this?

I went to like 15 shops before I found a piano that I liked the touch of

#

so it’s really just down to the piano

#

yes use the soft pedal if needed, but try not to get into the habit of using the soft pedal just whenever you need to play quietly

#

in fact when composers want you to use it they’ll generally mark it down

completely overhauling it will cost like 1k

probably not a good idea to overly rely on

If the keyboard is that bad, yea

Or pay to have the entire action touched up

Cheaper than buying a new oen
