This is my first time composing with lyrics, Im trying to join the JVKE her trend open verse im trying to think of lyrics but im just bad at this any advice?

Write badly then edit. It won’t be perfect the first try especially if you haven’t done lyrics before, but you can’t edit a blank page

Writing just takes practice and it’s like anything else, you have to produce a lot of mediocre work before it gets good

For this maybe make several different versions then pick from there which one to continue with

Read books, poetry, literature of any kind will work

It helps expand your vocabulary and creativity

I have like a small list of weird semi-obscure words that I could send to you for writing stuff

just write anything that comes to your mind

like a brainstorm

then start shaping a skeleton by grouping ideas and deciding on your structure

and then you can embellish what you have, you can add "flesh" to your skeleton
