Having shit parents is subjective but i think you understand that your parents are genuinely not the best at parenting. Either way it doesn't matter anon you can't change their views on you i think we are past that stage now and I'm pretty sure you are better off living your life alone without them. Will you take the responsibility of the anon to make him/her live in your house, feed him/her, give a education that you haven't received but will be ready to sacrifice your whole future for him. These are parents. Sometimes things are told from one point of you. Her mother wants him/her to do as many good things religiously that would help him to get good luck. That means his/her parents wants him/her to succeed.
