Ty ty ๐ finished my final exam yesterday
Just gotta wait til 25/5 now
cs, math p1 and m1 chem and physics
Ah same as me lol
Alright well
For math and phys
You really can't get marks via memorization
And practicing the same sum
You have to learn the concept which does take a while but sticks with you
For example to learn smth like trig identities in math
Do 15 textbook sums to just learn the basics
But then you gotta do past paper sums to challenge you
And help you think of different angles
For compsci the only real tip I have is for pseudocode
Write our how the algorithm works in plain English in pencil first
Like
'first take user input and store in string, then validate by doing x and y'
Either mentally or you can write it down
Only if you clearly know the flow of your algorithm from start to finish
You can implement it without forgetting any steps or making a logical Error
for physics and chem?
For physics
Hm
I don't have any specific tips really since it's quite straight forward but one tip is
If you think your formula is wrong
You can try to work out the units
For example v=f lambda
V is m/s
Lambda is m
And f is 1/s
So multiplying them together gives the right unit
So ensure your anwer is the right unit
One more gi
Tip
In your calculator
Press OPTN and then Engineer Symbol
There you can add milli micro mega giga
To the end of numbers
Instead of typing 10 power x
Cause you may make a mistake and it takes time
I don't really have any tips for Chem since I just kind of did papers to learn ms points
oh that's a life saver
Chem is not really my strong point
Yep it's really useful to save time
what grades are you expecting?
Also one other thing is Google how to solve for x in Casio f91 or whatever the calc model is
Cause you can use that to save time
did u mean equations like simulations and polynomial?
No any equation works
oh thank you
Gave +1 rep to Parallax Error#9410
have you applied to any uni?
Yea I got conditional from Manchester
That's why I need 3A stars
Math phys a star
oh wow which major?
Chem either A or B
Compsci
I really love programming been doing it since I was 7
All types of languages from C++ to python to shader languages
So I'm excited to do that as a major
Yup
Most of the course material doesn't look that stimulating tho
Already covered a lot of the programming
Best of luck for your results and future endeavours
Thank you ๐
