that is very must dependent on the uni and what course you want to do. I wouls ay that it is useful uni apps as some unis may ask you questions about your EE

and if you choose a subject and topic you truly love your EE will be a breeze

I mean just its overall comparison to the certificate program and deciding whats better

You should know you'll need to take 3 HL's and 3 SL's and the way the syllabus has changed this year

And be aware of picking your subjects in terms of what you'll do in the future

I startd off with english as an HL but since it was so time consuming compared to my bio and chem HL's I switched it to an SL and replaced it with business HL which I found much better

Because theres really not much of a difference between business SL and HL

Just a bit more content in terms of calculations + an extra exam

Reflect on what you did in IGCSE and what you plan to do in the future

If you already know the subjects you need take the necessary ones in HL based off uni requirements

And if you're just looking for "easier" subjects to do just for the sake of getting more points

You could do geography, ess, itgs, business at HL either one of those thats what our school recommended and I'd recommend business obviously

Awwww I get that dwww going from MYP to doing the dp program is definitely a jump tbh if you were to do IGCSEs and transition it might've been better

We have like 2 students in our year who came from MYP and theyre finding it really difficult because of how they learnt things previously although you can still catch up and practice over the summer but theres always the certificate program that you can do or even a levels theres loadsssssss

Let me know where you end up getting to and what you decide though hopefully whatever decision you make will be of the best
