do lots of past year papers but focus on the most recent years as it would be the newest format (especially paper 2), analyse the syllabus outline as they explain the content of each component in detail as well as the vocab, grammar, and topic areas to focus on (for paper 3 mainly)...so far there has only been one series with the listening component (paper 1) so just review the may/june 2022 paper, practice writing complex sentences using varied vocab and metaphors (optional) so that you can boost your marks in paper 4 (the essay writing component), attempt to converse in malay at any given chance as this will help improve your intonation, pronounciation and overall flow of the sentence— giving you confidence when you sit for your paper 3 (speaking component), and lastly, be well-versed in the different essay formats :) hope this helps !

its not exactly the same as previous exams, u can check past papers for roleplay. But the idea is the same basically, you're supposed to know how to "talk" in malay

basic conversations

topic discussions

ordering food or calling helpline

stuff like that

its similar to what we're doing right now, but rn its in english

similarly you'll do it in malay but ofc you'll be conversing with the examiner

also keep in mind that its foreign language so dont worry too much, just have a strong grasp on vocabulary

and you're good to go

My suggestion to you is to look at previous past papers on speaking and practise so that you will get the hang of it. Don't worry you will do great in the exam!

Forgot to say to you this is that they will test your language of Malay. You are not allowed to use slang words as they will either pinalise you or you will lose a lot of marks for the usage of slang language
