I was making a drawing and wanted an accurate looking star
I noticed that there’s a pentagon in the middle
So if I have a regular pentagon, I can easily make a star
But I didnt have a protractor, so I didnt know how to make one
Then it hit me

roots of unity, all 5 roots told me which direction to move my pen and how many units
Then I realized that I can automate this process in desmos

It was a supposition. Hence the word “If”.
It makes the assumption that the nth term can be written as a linear combination of the previous two terms.
should we prove that it can be in the form in the first place?
For additional rigour that can be proven using induction.
