If we're measuring against other shounen, I'd say Black Clover is a solid ~70/100.
It's not a masterpiece by any measure, but it's written better than a lot of other things. Admittedly, the characters don't develop much and stay mostly static, but their core personalities are interesting. The action and the magic really carries it though, and it's got some banging OPs.
I'd say if you like your classic shounen battle stuff, you'll probably enjoy it to some degree. Bonus points because it's not chock full of fanservice like some shounen <_< are.

but yes u can say that if they end up using cgi for the shadows its probably gonna end up being bad considering it isnt studio orange doing it
the only thing i can think of that was somewhat similar to a shadow is from fate/zero, berserker. And that was too done my ufotable but even they used cgi for him so honestly it'd be great if they even make it a fraction as good as its in the manhwa

i mean as long as i can still get thrills from it js as how i got while reading it. The way i imagined sung say “Arise” gets me every time, the goosebumps, the thrill, the excitement. Its amazing how a single artwork could make u feel such sentiment. So if i were to expect the same for the anime and i end up getting let down, it would be pretty upsetting for me. BUT AGAIN if they end up just as great, then that would be phenomenal ngl.
