Mm, so god of small things is actually set in the state of kerala and revolves around the caste system and love laws. it includes a small family and a unknown man called Velutha and a mysterious relationship. Now throughout the story, there is a sense of an impending doom or Terror, which she never tells us until the very end. So its also a mystery. Im not going to tell u the plot, but its a very strong and even emotionally touching.
In my opnion everyone should read it, cause its written such beuatifully, especially the middle phases, with strong metaphors.
And its also an award winner.
