you can do stuff like taking omega-3, more protien, extra sleep, optimal recovery
but it'll still leave effects on your CNS which would probably effect the efficiency of your workout
just make sure you're getting good contraction, full range of motion, large strech of the muscle when isolating it, progressive overload, and stopping one rep or two before faliure
the gym isn't that complicated, just be consistent and you'll see results

it's relative to how much weight you lift and the most amount of reps. for example if you do bodyweight squats only or do cycling you wont gain any mass on your quads because these are more taxing on the cardiovasciular system (you respire aerobically more, hence youre really mainly training your heart) than skeletal muscles. muscles don't 'differentiate' it's more like your body adapts differently based on what ur doing.
hypertrophy is done when you put your muscles under metabolic stress and load which means the focus is now mainly on anaerobic respiration, that means you need to lift heavy enough and the rep range can be anywhere from a few reps to 20+, it depends on the exercise, but i'd say anything beyond 30 reps for anything usually just becomes cardio
so the tldr differences are the rep range, load, and the main form of respiration taking place
oh i guess you could also say it's just manipulating volume and intensity to change whether youre training for endurance or hypertrophy

Just looking at the comments you can see there are so many men who relate to this. Society is really f*cking brutal to men of our half-human stature.
But I'm sure as hell happy that society is like that. What would be worse is if we were 'victimizied' and consoled for our midget heights. You know fat people? They have full control of their weight and they got a whole movement for 'anti-fatphobia' or whatever. Same with so many other groups in society that should be ridiculed or held accountable for their bad practices yet the one group that NO ONE has stepped up to defend is short men. And the mental health problems in our group are f*cking real because that's just how the world works.
By being born as dwarfs, we're victimized by nature. It's a law of nature, of human biology to refer to height as a status symbol.
So be it, there's nothing you can do about it except get the fuck on with your life. To let yourself be victimized by nature is a choice. You gotta break the cycle of hatred.
Also to any short guy who's reading this, you might have noticed how I'm using the harshest descriptors of height right now. Midget, dwarf, half-human, child-size. Because that's the first step. You gotta accept yourself for what you are. Then crack a few jokes about it. Fucking own it. Expose yourself to the universal facts. very true, one has to make jokes about it. That is humor. Finding the obvious imperfections in you and making nice jokes about it really shows confidence and helps to embrace who you are. This can also stop others from mocking you, since u already does that, maybe even better than them.
