@olive anchor IK THIS MIGHT BE TOO LONG BUT IF YOU WANT GOOD GRADES OR WANNA IMPROVE UR GRADES, Just skim through the questions properly and try to realize which question makes you feel comfortable and analyze those type of questions and try to brainstorm ideas and think whether or not you have relevant examples for the topic, and some (not many just some) fancy and eleganto words that you can use, try to insert some fallacies in your essay like "Because of the society's beliefs people are often riding on a bandwagon and forgetting the basic things" or something along the lines, make sure your english is clear and your spellings are as correct as possible.
As long as you do those, I'm sure you're going to get awesome marks.

No it's not, ur total grade is based on ur total raw marks

So if u had D in one components and A in all other, the marks of the D and the other 3 A will be added and you'll be graded accordingly, for if all the 3 A are barely an A, so in that case ur total marks may not be equal to an A threshold so you'll end up getting a B and similarly if those 3 As are high A you can also end up getting an A*

Guys idk if I can pass computer sceince paper 2, it's like maybe 50/50 chance I could get either E or U, if I get E then I'm happy and I'll continue my A2 CS journey if I get U then I'll drop CS and I have to do difference subject in Oct Nov. And I'm hoping to finish my entire A levels this Oct Nov, so I'm afraid if result released on 13 August that I failed CS paper 2 then I'm basically cooked because then I've to prepare for Accounting(the subject I'm thinking to replace CS) AS and A2 with only 2 months of preparation. Even if I pass, preparing for CS A2 within 2 months of preparation is also very tough. My decision is literally based on result, that will release very late in August

The thing is my paper 1 CS was cancelled due to security issues in Punjab. So my marks will all be based upon paper 2 solely. If gt is low then great otherwise I'm failed if gt increase. Not to mention paper 2 was also leaked here in pakistan.

So what u suggest? Should I just start studying CS A2 accepting that I'll fail or should I start studying for different (Accounting) subject accepting that I'll fail

Well what I would do is take breaks each time, don’t study a lot which makes u stress during exam. Try to meditate every morning and do smth fun. Don’t just take a whole day studying but maybe ask your parents to go out somewhere like to a restaurant or at the park.

Sleep is very important so is best u follow this rule. 8 Study, 8 free time (no games but relaxing) and 8hs of sleep. You can change it homewver u want but 8h of sleep is rly important. Because u won’t feel tired during your exam

Once that exam is completed u can congratulate yourself and study for the next one (u can forget your old papers too 😂)

Hello, I need help choosing either to take either Cambridge or edexcel furthermaths.

I finished Cambridge As maths (P1 + mechanics) and self studied P(2+)3

If I am taking Cambridge further maths I have to take fp1 and further mechanics this oct/nov and the rest of the a level may/june 2026

I but when I checked the requirements for Cambridge FM they said I need to complete statistics A level even only for taking fp1 and f mechanics, is this true?

If so, I was thinking of taking edexcel since I don’t have much time to study fp1, fm and statistics.

But I’ve got no clue of when or how edexcel exactly works. I only know I can choose 4 papers out of 6 I like pure maths and it’s my strong topic. Mechanics was also good but I’ve heard it much harder in FM. Also what is decision maths? If someone could give me some advice it will be really helpful.

Don't skip as level

You could just do as and not a2, or you could do both. It doesn't make sense and its not smart to just do the 2nd year of a two year course

I'm not sure exactly how it works but you probably have 3 modules to choose from if you're just doing as,

Further pure 1, further stats, further mech

You have to do further pure 1 and I think you have a choice between further stats and further mech
