so usually what happens with people that take A2 in mj is that they apply to unis through UCAS with their forecast

if the uni accepts them they will send back a contextual offer

if on results day your result is worse than what your forecast was then its up to the unis whether they accept u or not

After every topic,do a significant number of examples of that topic, till u get ur hand swift around that specific topic. Try ffinding critical sums and dont get demotivated if u arent able to solve and feel free to ask for help ,and this will help u understand the topic more clearly.

Biology is A LOT APPLICATION BASED compared to other questions. Yes some questions might be straightforward but it's mostly application based so understanding the processes and having an idea of what exactly the concept is , is very important for biology.

That said, past papers are very important too cause just understanding won't get you marks. Knowing what to write for what questions and how to frame your answer is pretty important since bio can have some lengthy answers. So looking at mark schemes and taking help of them to frame your answers is a nice way to help you score high

So I took the Pearson Edexcel A-Level Chinese, and I got an A.
An A* will be great, but the grade boundaries rose by 30 marks and I was 14 marks below A*.

as for when to start studying, your idea of between every 4 to 5 chapters is smart

Can someone help for a2 cs. I got a B 72 for as . however, if I’d want an A I’d have to get 64/75 in two papers or more depending on the boundaries and an A* would be impossible because I’d need more marks than are given on the paper.

On the other hand, if I retake all 4, I’d spend less time in pursuing the last two papers and gaining more marks overall. I’d need around 50 marks (more or less depending on the boundaries) for each paper for an A, and would actually have a chance for an A*. However time is minimal, as I have 50 days left till the first paper of AS. What do you think?

But practice for paper 4 contributes to paper 2 for AS. The only one that would be a struggle to study would be the first paper, as it has a lot of content.

I would say retake if you can. Just spam learning for the first paper and ensure a good score in it so you don't have trouble getting an A* in A2. And obviously learn paper 4 religiously as well cause after you'll be done with AS, you only have to study for the theory paper again and you can just learn that very well too.

But again I don't know what other subjects you have or how much free schedule you have. Consult with your teachers tbh

Sat isn't a full on "exam" from a whole different curriculum it's a small test. If you're applying to America unis sat is really beneficial for scholarships and before covid it was mandatory in american unis

And unis worldwide outside murica also accept sat scores as an extra aid to see student caliber so there's really no harm in taking it

hey, you can always retake a grade you don't like, even though i think B is quite good tbh.

But if you don't want to do that, check what does the Uni require from you when it comes to A level grades

governmental unis in my country take 1 mark from AS level and one from A2 level

so i.e. i want to go medicne, i need 3 subjects of physics chem and bio.

they will take my highest grade in AS for one subject, and take my A2 grades for the other two

different countries have different methods of accepting, so check your local unis
