Some academy/tuition centres set up mock exams for their students one or two months prior to the final exams. That's how I gave mocks, and I was a private candidate as well. If you're receiving any guidance from tutors or a local academy, I'd ask them first. Otherwise honestly, past papers still do the trick and you're fit to apply to uni after your AS results get released. Good luck!
