Personally it's quite hard. A lot of syllabus and application in papers is hard asw. If you need it for your major you should still take it but if it's like just for an option or something then I would suggest not to take it

From matric to as it's kinda a big switch so imo I'd recommend u to try to sit for m/j if you can because if u really like wanna absorb understand the info u gotta study for a year. In 4 months I do think it's possible if you have the knowledge but you'll need to study intensely

And get a good idea of the syllabus
