I find that to self improve, all I have to do is quiet down and listen to my thoughts, see my faults and fix them with a method that comes from me. when you download a pdf, it usually asks you for the target location where you'd want to save it on your device. if it doesnt, just click on the file widget on the top right of your browser once its done downloading and the file will open in its location. it also shows in the download history on your browser. if it doesnt, you're probably using the guest or incognito mode. as a last resort, use the windows search on the bottom left of your screen to search the pdf if you do know its name. you could also try downloading any other random pdf or the same pdf again and this time notice where its saved...
